@@unsoundrob He sounds incredible here. You see a lot of vocalists struggle to pull off their past work but it’s just flawless. . Such a tragic loss of a bad ass frontman
@@MaCNuTz-tu8ot I was lucky to have seen them twice with Mike back in the band, and hearing him sing ‘Badlands’ was a real dream come true. He was effortless in his delivery, and had even more range and power it seemed. The last albums he did with MC were incredible, and it makes it all the more tragic how things ended up.

Kind of an analogy....This earth is the Bad Lands...and his journey has come to an end.....what an incredible loss....The Badlands won unfortunately!!!! Took another special awesome soul from us way too soon!!!! He seems like a very down to earth nice guy....what a horrible loss...I grew up as a teen listening to this and this song brings back great memories of a carefree time in the 80s...Best times of my life...
Remember seeing these guys when I was eighteen at Operation Rock & Roll back in 91. I won the tickets from W.S.O.U. and took my best friend. We wanted to mainly see Metal Church.
That’s awesome, what a great year to have seen them touring on Blessing In Disguise. And WSOU is the greatest college station ever, I was lucky to have grown up nearby and listened everyday. Still tune in when I’m in the area to see what they’re playing.

Awesome picks there, that Love and Kisses cover is great. I had never seen that before. I remember seeing an add for "Stick it To Ya" in a magazine that said something like "will knock your d!ck in the dirt" which I thought was a pretty sleazy tagline for the time.

Admittedly, I drew this in haste while looking at Mikey Bananas’ Microsoft paint version of Castillo, but it’s a start… And nothing was as brilliant as your maniacal plan to sabotage Old Head’s big party whilst blacking out on air!! Pure genius.

Not many his age coming out with stuff like Living by the numbers. Lemmy and Halford are the only ones in the metal world I know of hitting that intensity over 50. Sux HUGE loss:/ Well maybe he was bumming from covid or some ailments? Had to be something to want to leave the hero life behind. :(

I don't record many songs but made it a point to record Badlands. Genius tune, Mike Howe was a super talented songwriter.
I was 18 when Blessing was released and I bought it on C-cassette. This was the first song I always play when I want someone wants to hear Metal Church.

I was there in 2019 when they played the chance.. they were awesome they hung out after the show
What a killer show, I was there also. Mike was always the last one in the venue talking to fans after the show. Total class act.
