Why does the song sound different from the one D4vd sang?

The watercolor art style was a stroke of genius. It gives the scene a surreal, dream-like quality. So many of the details have faded out of memory forever, hence all the blank space and low frame rate. But those emotions are inseparable from who Jinx and Vi are.
