Someone posted on the Disturbed subreddit that their dad was able to speak with the band’s drummer after this song. According to them, it wasn’t released simply because Disturbed didn’t like how it turned out. Apparently, they weren’t allowed creative freedom when recording this version. A plausible reason, but it came from an unverified source so take it with a grain of salt. I think this is a great cover and so hope it does see the light of day eventually.
I've read that post earlier today, although i take everything with a grain of salt, their comment about them not having creative freedom is something i expect from the WWE, other than that i believe there are other things that ultimate haulted the song release. On the other note, whoever tried to defend a genocide in that post comments i hope they're prepared for hell
