So what do you do when the builders contractors don’t correctly grade the driveway so that it sits below the VDOT street level? Then when it rains the water accumulates at the bottom in puddles and the entire end of your driveway is all ice when it’s winter out. And the builders contractors say, it’s not on them. Any suggestions for that?

I was pleased for most of the construction process with Atlantic Builders. However, they really dropped the ball toward the end of the process, which sadly resulted in a negative experience. Problems were mostly from extremely poor quality finishing work! Very sloppy! Poor workmanship everywhere! A truly terrible paint job that looked like painters barely knew which end of the paint brush to hold! Seriously - worst paint job I've ever seen in my life! Dirt/grime actually IN the paint - all over the house! 1000 nail pops at move-in. Very uneven dips in floor! Drywall bowed like a 50 year-old house! Nails/rocks UNDER the carpet (not just at the edges)! Lots of concrete damage inside and outside. Terrible garage work - drywall tape, adhesive on floor/walls, etc. Creaking floors. Scrapes in cabinets...and so on. These are NOT issues a newly constructed house should have, yet I was met with apathy from the site manager. and much smoke blowing from the construction manager. ZERO reply from the company CEO or anyone else regarding my issues! With these problems and attitudes - I'm concerned about the long term reliability of my brand new home. Atlantic Builders talks a good game, but are NOT what they appear to be - at least at the Waynesboro Va location. NOT recommended.

Your timing is good, it is indeed an up-and-coming community that even in the year of Covid appears to have limited numbers of houses for sale. I love the wooden floors shown here, both very distinctive and looks like it will handle normal wear and tear better.
