how do u add camos to it? and scopes? also what do you do if there's no reload sequences in the script? also it didn't show up in game

There's a problem, it says: Crowbar ERROR: The model compiler, "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\bin\studiomdl.exe", does not exist. Possible causes: The game's SDK or Authoring Tools has not been installed (usually via Steam Library Tools) or the path given to Crowbar (via Set Up Games button) is incorrect. I changed the view option so i could hopefully see the c++ file and i still dont see it

There was this shotgun long time ago that went missing it was a counter strike gun called tactical sawed-off shotgun I hope I can recreate that
I just want to reiterate that, it was an awesome tutorial.. and I like I've seen a lot of shit tutorials to know what a good one is, the fact that I didn't even have to follow it after watching it to go do it for the most part anyways.. excellent! I mean granted if I were doing exactly what you were doing I might have pulled it up.. but everything made perfect sense for the most part, I can see how somebody new to source modding might not understand how simple it is to do rename model replacements and I love that about source shit I was looking this up in the first place because I haven't used this thing in 15 years and everything's kind of changed, good time to get back in as all my old mods that were killed back when the orange box updated forcefully.. which apparently came back, but then was ultra killed back in 2013 has officially more or less come back in some capacity.. and then there's Garry's mod, another mod that was not killed out right but kneecaps like a mother fucker when The Orange box update happened.. if you were using the mod version, I was always pissed about the standalone, not the money part.. but all the things that were changed that you couldn't do anymore, seems like at this point as a result of this you can pretty much do anything in Garry's mod but you could possibly want to do and do it well which is kind of insane.. it's like the the Pinnacle of everything that we kind of wanted out of low scale modding that shouldn't require heavy c++ knowledge to do it, or adjusted anyways. and the fact that the mods are designed to work together just makes me smile, that was always one of the biggest bitches about any mod in general for the most part for any game, especially Half-Life 2.. but on hindsight Half-Life 2 is definitely one of the better ones, but when it came to things that involved engine adjustments or code adjustments you were just kind of fucked and still kind of are unless you actually can go and pull it apart and recompile it and all that jazz.. which I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure there's a bit of restriction on that for a lot of things.. cuz I keep hearing people whining about people stealing code.. which is really kind of lame, it's a mod dude.. as long as there's attribution who cares, if you want to sell it go sell it license source engine and go go sell it LOL. Garry's mod at this point seems to be the polar opposite of that, like people are totally fine for the most part anyways with working on other people's iterations, just this little tutorial ended up itself is a great example of how there's not only okay, but they created templates for it like you're supposed to do that that's that's how you get the cool things that you get and I for damn sure why this is so vast as to what you can do with this thing at this point.. I got back into this when the overcharged mod came out, cuz it looked like a one stop shop to get my old s mod more or less back without having to use the standalone, and you know maybe finally actually finished episode one and two cuz I.. yeah when those came out and it killed my mods for all the other stuff.. and I had gotten used to free aim and kicking and leaning and all the other cool shit that you can do if you're not making a bare-bone shooter of the most bearish bones like the Half-Life 2 gameplay structure was.. which had become increasingly obsolete especially by 2007 LOL I mean shit, that might have been the Pinnacle.. you had stalker you had crisis.. obviously we were on the other end of that Pinnacle because system shock the Bible for all immersive gameplay, he came system shock too which was awesome and then irrational made SWAT for which was awesome, and then dropped a giant fuck you bomb with BioShock.. although it we were officially on the other end of it when they cry tech started trolling the PC community and then came out crisis 2, the Halo of the crisis series! It was like crisis except you couldn't do anything crisis like! Shodan would be ashamed if she were still alive enough to know what her child had become.. well okay that's a that's misleading statement LOL you can't kill you can't kill a goddess.. fucking insects.

Can anyone tell me how to change the reload animations? i just don't like how the reload animation looks. Edit: is there any guide on how to add attachments? Edit 2: I tried making another weapon in the same category but the weapon won't appear, i don't know why.

I literally payed $7 to someone on fiverr to make a TFA weapon and it just did not happened, making a TFA is just impossible.

@@harrydawson2171 I'd love to, infact I was just about to make a new swep today of my own scifi gun. I don't have Far Cry New Dawn though so I'd need to get my hands on the assets somehow

@@harrydawson2171 that'd work perfectly. I'd need the models textures and sounds unless I'm forgetting anything else. Usually I just browse google and sometimes people have already ripped the assets from the game on.. some website I forget the name of, but with a new game like FND that's probably unlikely to be the case

Doing great with your tutorial so far, quick question though (and anyone can answer please) The weapon I downloaded doesn't have the world/physics mdl and silencer mdl files. i take it that i only need to do the step in the earlier part of the video for what my weapon I downloaded has? Thanks to whoever responds :D

@@dylan5576 nevermind about this comment, I used a better gun mod from Insurgency, converted the GGX shaders to work with GMod's PBR, it works with c_hands but it's a bit shoddy.

as someone who JUST had this error, check to make sure your steam library with Garry's Mod in it is actually on your C:\ and not on your D:\. if it turns out it is on your D:\, go to set up games to fix that
Or just change the directories in the Crowbar setup if you want your Garry's Mod on another drive
