The Rossendale Mummers performing "The Trials of Everyman" at The Crown pub Bacup, Lancs. This performance on 7th July 2013 at "The Crown Affair" which takes place every year on the first Sunday of July. A day of dance and mumming plays with various morris teams and usually two mumming groups attending. A wonderful afternoon of entertainment for all the family and it's free !

Old Father Christmas has just finished performing at Bacup Christmas market with The Rossendale Mummers and took the chance to dance with Rossendale Clog Heritage in full gear. Sorry about the dodgy mobile phone footage but you don't often see him clog dancing.

This is the final dance of a long day, 0900hrs to 1930hrs, at the Glen near Stacksteads. This Easter Saturday tradition of dancing boundary to boundary in the town of Bacup ends with one last dance where Stacksteads Silver Band try to catch out the dancers by speeding up, slowing down, playing off tune and generally trying to put the lads off !!!

Whitworth Rushcart 2011 saw this year's mayor Dave Bradbury gamely dance The Shawforth Dance after weeks of secret practice. Might have helped if he hadn't waited until the afternoon of the dance to try his clogs on for the first time!!!

The Rossendale Mummers present "The Christmas Play" at Whitworth Band Club on Sunday 21st December 2008. The Rossendale Mummers comprise of members of The Whitworth Rushcart Men and one member of The Britannia Coconutters. Our mission is to bring a smile to the face in these hard times.
