Pool Partying, Backyard Partying and Hog Roasting

My Parents, and other family and their friends partying it up and being a little goofy in the 70's! I only had to edit out about 5 seconds what would be embarrassing crude behavior...good job kids!! Otherwise it's just original footage as it was recorded on two different reels. It appears the pool and hog roast footage was a few years before the backyard party footage...I should have swapped th...

dynamite

after Wes in the swamp, you're waiting on dynamite to go off...1:13 picks back up with people in the video. You'll have to tell me what to title again.
Great video, i liked that you zoomed in on you pit stops but I with you would have overlayed the name of the towns you stopped at.
Thanks for the recommendation...I need to realize when putting it together that more people will see these videos than the guys on the trip that I make the video for! I hope you enjoyed it otherwise!
Did you guys drive up in one day?
nope...two days. could be one, but it'd be a haul!
Loved your written opening statement. That's the way it should be. About to watch now.
Thanks for the comment, I hope you enjoyed the video!
Classic! Another great trip review--you guys remind me of our old Larus Lake crew. We went each year for 17 years to one of the best outpost locations in NW Ontario. Then, one year, our group dissolved almost overnight. I'm in my early 60s, and I was usually the youngest guy in the group. I still go on two or three trips a year with my brother and a couple of other regulars, but nothing will ever compare to the group camaraderie my old group had. Keep it going, guys, for as long as you can!!
Great video!! Thanks for filming and posting. Great tunes and format.
Good job guys! I was with a group that flew in with a different outfitter the day you guys were heading back--we had similar weather conditions and fishing--can't wait to get back this summer! Thanks again for the good work on the video, helps us all get through the winter!
Yep...one reason for videos of these trips, dreaming of the next one during cold weather! Glad others get that out of it too! What lake did your group go to and how did you do? thanks for watching!
@@erikhildebrandt8383 we were at Onepine Lake through Nestor Falls Outfitters, late June. Hotter than blazes, horrible black flies, but the fishing might have been the best I have seen at that particular lake.
@@erikhildebrandt8383 any new videos of this summer yet? I was at Onepine last week, and as has been the norm this summer, we had days of hot, flat calm weather; high winds that pinned us in for the better part of the day, and torrential rains out of nowhere. Had one day, prior to a front moving in, where the fish went nuts and we all felt like Al Lindner. But really, we caught about half of what we did last summer. Also had a bear in camp all week, and one day, he ripped apart both of my bait tamers tied to the dock, releasing our minnow supply. All while we were banging on things and doing all we could to keep him off that dock. For good measure, the next day he trashed the fish cookers in the cook shack. Anyway, am looking at booking with Clark's for next summer, as they have a few lakes where just a few guys can get in. So hard getting 6 guys to go anymore. Hope you guys are having a great summer!!
@@jimdahlin7333 thanks for the report...always good to hear stories! Thy group I go with is flying out from Clark's tomorrow....without me! My son graduated HS and wanted to do a different type of trip this summer before he heads off to college...won't be much fishing, but look for a video documenting that trip here sometime before the end of the year.
@@erikhildebrandt8383 We booked with Clark's for next summer, Shabumeni Lake. Did you see the series of videos Clark's had done by a pro video team this summer? 10 episodes in all, excellent viewing. So anyway, I am going with Clark's June 6-12 and then to Lake St. Joseph's with Slate Falls Outposts June 20-26. Hope you guys get together again next summer, missed your video! Cheers.
Where’s the beer?
It was there, plenty enough for us!
Great video, and music!!
Thanks for the compliment!
My grandfather Cy Williams named that lake after his first wife.
We enjoyed our time there! It's always interesting to hear the history of the area up there.
Not sure of the venue on any of these the first one may have been a hare scramble at a track in South Haven, IN. Mick Milakovic is taking a picture @ 1:04. Buck from Michigan City usually rode an Indian but pretty sure it is him on a Hodaka at 1:47. 2:35 is my Datsun piNorckup truck with Mr. Norm (Norman Creekmur) sitting on the tailgate waiting to give us gas. 2:47 is Nana (Verna Vandercar) carrying a roll of duct tape. Probably waiting to patch something together. 3.02 is me (Mike Vandercar) coming into the gas stop. 4:18 is David Vandercar, Crazy Ray Crisan and Mike Vandercar.
Great picture of my brother David Vandercar.
This season of Canada is by far one of the most compelling. The pacing of the earlier episodes with the plane got off to a rough start, but it looks like that was the fault of outside factors. Although the actors delivered their lines unconvincingly at times, each of the characters was entertaining to watch. [spoiler warning] The final episode concluding with Cade catching what might have been the same fish he caught in the first episode was a perfect narrative bookend. Production value has definitely increased in the last couple of years. I would love to see a blooper reel and outtakes from filming at the end of each season finale. I look forward to the next season and hope it continues to get renewed.
Well done!! ALMOST makes me want to go.
Nice music choice!
