OHHH CRAP!! I Never realized that Mandible instigated that war in order to get rid of the soldiers most loyal to the queen! That would make it easier for him to kill her and create a new colony. Wow this movie is way smarter than I remembered, it drops little hints and lets you pick up on them. I also like how Mandible represents bad change, while Z represents good change. Mandible belittles the individual and makes them think they are nothing without the colony, all while plotting to destroy the colony, calling the individuals who BUILT it, weak. Z lifts up the individual, and shows that they can choose their path, while at the same time, if they all join together they make something great, because without them, without each person choosing to put THEMSELVES in, the structure would collapse. EVERY INDIVIDUAL IS IMPORTANT. Work only gets done because individuals do it, and they need to be compensated fairly. Don't be satisfied with crumbs.

Apparently when he was first introduced on the show he freaked kids out and parents complained enough that they toned him down by pairing him with Rita. The movie version they were like "Ah fuck it, let's amp him up and make him even scarier" That deeper voice, the sharper look to his face plate, the brain pulsations... they NAILED it with this version. The only thing I would have done differently was keep his Z emblem on his head longer. It's shorter in the movie than in the show.

Did anyone notice that Skull didn’t fasten or strap his helmet on before they jumped out of the plane? It should’ve come right off his head as soon as they started free falling.
