I’m usually hesitant to share videos of works in progress, but last night has to be an exception.
It has always been my dream to own and perform the incredible illusion created by Walter Blaney. Presenting it on the stage of the world’s most prestigious magic society, The Magic Circle, in a private show for my fellow members, made it even more special.
Instead of following a typical routine structure, I combined the illusion with a classic mentalism effect known as the Powers of Darkness, aiming to create a levitation that happens only in the minds of the spectators....

One of my favourite shows to perform - My Parlour Show
The easiest to do this would be with a twin.... And what struck me about this trick is, that you actually only lose sight of the hand for a very short moment when she is still out of the clearly out of the box - time enough to switch it with the hand of her twin. But after that you never loose sight of the hand again....
