S'funny, as a spectator I CANNOT STAND the chanting. But if I were there bowling, I'd be chanting along with em and probably telling them to chant expletives at corner pins and stuff since I wouldn't be able to do it myself.

I dont understand the hate for the cheering. Im not an old head so i dont have the old ways engrained in me, and if the players wanted silence on their frames, they should ABSOLUTELY get that silence, but both players seemed to enjoy the rowdiness and the cheering! So i dont see why its that big of a deal.

Regarding the chanting, it is very annoying, seems that all of the players have to endure it, so just turn down the volume, miss the commentators and turn on CC. Eventually, just watch something else, it’s not fun. What about rules?

What the hell is with all the crowd chanting?? Pete Weber would lose his freaking mind! I hate it and I certainly hope this isn't going to be the future the PBA televised tour. There isn't anything more annoying than listening to idiots chanting in the background when you're trying to watch a bowling match

I never watch men's bowling anymore. I can't get past the chanting, the audience noise, Randy Pederson phoning it in, and the occasional lack of sportsmanship, though the last has improved.

This chanting ALL SHOW LONG is about the most annoying thing that could have been done. It’s not cool, it’s not enhancing things, it sounds orchestrated. Get rid of this crap ffs

I have to agree -- encouraging chanting was a bad decision. After a few minutes, I had to mute the sound.

Thank you for posting this. One suggestion: Don't put spoilers in the title. Just say "2024 PBA Tour Finals Championship." Don't say "who" is in the finals as it spoils all the previous matches since now we know who made it to the finals before we even watched those other matches.
