Most of the enemies that take fall damage are the enemies you can actually knock upwards, manequins need to be knocked up in a very specific way so doesn’t count (also don’t ask about guttermen/tanks, hakita just felt quirky with them i guess(

How did V2 not get turned into blood when he clearly died when he fell in 4-4?
scripted event. IIRC the canonical answer is that it didn't land on its feet
watch closely when V2 gets blasted off the side of the pyramid, he no longer has wings, without them he isn't able to soften the fall and fucking dies
Apparently the V models need their wings for mobility and their arsenal, and V2 got their wings messed up during the fight

only when knocked off a surface. if it falls off deliberately (or has its platform cease to exist like here) it doesn't
