Sincere apologies as I've not been minding the channel for a while. The paint used on the stainless horn button is Testors model paint. The paint for the wheel and column are from a local auto paint supply. It is a single stage (not requiring clear coat) paint. I selected a color that matched some of the color that was on the column when I started. I apologize, I do not recall the paint code. It was not a specific International Scout color. The filler used is PC-7 epoxy. A two part system, Amazon link: www.amazon.com/PC-Products-87770-Two-Part-Multipurpose/dp/B000AB4A8M/ref=sr_1_1?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.NsVmOYDVuZtyVZpzne_XM6GVeD24af1D6Hjb5J1TetpFlRY_DzSKzO_7KAjK9Di-ApSi94Hj9Jd-jk8hkmOcfO_m9EK8czwhB-W7amJKBt1hpLO35MQpWHfVO4ENg_r4E29UtEh9TcDNDEltXlPWsDKVrn6y8WDdTAAndnR6ml-r2vB_6Y13TXNNuspsmaYX_Qh7tQs_chpTEzwGXAd-DJJKaMD9wME4voE3jPcOaE8.MRekbqC2MLVgvztCZ_Pwzm7lkCRRvBc3X0XKNvA4YtI&dib_tag=se&hvadid=693971949014&hvdev=c&hvexpln=67&hvlocphy=9026494&hvnetw=g&hvocijid=11209950698359333500--&hvqmt=e&hvrand=11209950698359333500&hvtargid=kwd-307201466373&hydadcr=8426_13498114&keywords=pc-7%2Bepoxy&qid=1725822080&sr=8-1&th=1 There is a scene with a can of generic wax and grease remover. Unbolt the Idler Arm and the steering linkage can swivel around, can even pull forward out of the crossmember recess.

The box seems to operate fine but it hasn't been driven much. The Chevelle is currently disassembled for paint and upholstery. However, I've since come across a company called Turn One who specializes in power steering stuff. I'd talk to them before I did another. Thank you for the comment and for watching.

By the way, the last one I did was a Gen V L83, drive by wire into a 1962 International Scout (seen in my other videos). I kept and used the original harness and was also able to make the drive by wire operate properly. I was pleasantly surprised it all worked.

@@nicehotrods I am getting a 5.3 99-02 for my swap. A guy is going to go through it and make sure everything is good and he does a stand alone harness and tunes the ecu then I will start. My 85 needs rewiring anyway so I may just get an inexpensive harness and use what I need.
