2000 Honda Prelude | My unique approach
Просмотров 36 тыс.4 года назад
Hi everyone, This is my 2000 Honda Prelude type SH. I've owned this car for a decade now and still counting. This classic Honda is such an underated car so I've decided to show you how unique it can be. Hope you enjoy!
I used to own one these are insanely Slow even with the manual i used to get picked on by Silverado's and Toyota Sienna's at the Red light 😂.
is this the resonated or non resonated version?
Resonated
Those SH models are far more trouble than they're worth imho. Give me 4WS and an LSD box any day.
The interior is awesome. -Neal
Prelude slow af
Should have down shifted i got a 5th gen and when i race it like that it screams all the way to 200kph super chip helps with that tho
Thanks bro. The spoiler I found it in a online prelude forum in 2015. I would look at eBay or Facebook prelude forums
Hey bro. First off, nice build. I know this is an old post and you've might have already answered the question, but where you get that mid rise spoiler. I'm determined to find one. Thanks.
Any vibrations on the inside?
Is this an axel back or cat back
Axle back
Very nice! I have a ‘97 that I’ve had for 22 years. Got 324K miles on it.
Honda just trademarked the Prelude few days ago, they might bring it back!
That’ll be big
Those cars rip!
Ya mine flys 5th gen with super chip my 0to60 is 4.7 seconds 10.6 to 100mph ya she rips
Me gusta como lo tienes
I regret selling mine. Biggest mistake i ever made.
Beautiful build!
Hey can I use this video for my Honda Prelude vlog review ???
Yeah no problem
Nice lude, you from SD?
Los Angeles
Still have mine! Bought it 11 years ago with 24K on the clock. Stored every winter as well.
СВОИМ КРИКОМ ИСПОРТИЛИ ЗВУК ЭТИХ ПРЕКРАСНЫХ МОТОРОВ
Omg I need a type sh engine so bad.
would love to see some runs in it. looks great hope my prelude will run soon
Damn that interior color combo with the white paint is just perfect!
Nice. Better if it wasn’t lowered. They SH was a gimmicky expensive option that really didn’t do much if anything for handling. The SH package made clutch replacement a 14 hour MISERABLE job! A clutch job can be up to 4000.00! Cool cars that didn’t sell very well.
great looking car but a lowered white prelude with silver rims definelty isnt unique lol
it doesent madder if it isnt unique, the owner has to like it, no one else
@@ryu8942 I know. I ain’t hating on it at all but the title of it says unique
Now compare them on a highly technical track
That's a beautiful car my god
wow the rear sun shade
I always say. If it's not a stick, it's not fun.
Beautiful car brother, i got a 95 4th gen. They're great cars.
Where did you get the back seat from. From which car because mine has that plastic in the middle seat.
This is from Japan. The SiR preludes came with it. You can get lucky and find them on eBay
Just picked up a 1990 Honda Prelude Automatic silver in color with black interior. It will be a project car for me to pass it on to my son. Your's look Fantastic though. GR8 JOB..
Thanks a lot. I’ll be focusing on it again
@@iits_t Thank you really enjoyed your video. You have a lot of good ideas. Alex from Napa, California
Yeah
Fresh! Where’d you get your ATTS emblem?
Found it online a while ago
How do you frost the half moon?
I had bought a 98 prelude brand new in 98. Ill never forget the drive home. Such a great car. Did 130 mph and still had 1100 rpm left to redline and power peak. Biggest flaws for me were how hard and uncomfy the seats were and also I fdont know what it is, but most of these cars incl yours has a drooping front bumper cover. That gap between the bumper cover and the fenders and grill are so annoying.
What happened to it?
@@thekrimsonchin6023 During the roughly year and a half I owned it it had been keyed on the rear quarter panel by my gf ex, and then bodyshop didnt repair it to a high standard. Then I hit a deer, and the shop didnt repair it to a high standard and from then on it had the drooping front bunper like the one in the video. So I lost the love for it I guess. I traded it in and its unfortunate because it was a great car.
Just bought a 97 prelude two weeks ago, how did you make the interior red ?
Bought it online. Got it imported from Japan
@@iits_t the interior came red when you purchased it then?
@@joelbarboza141 no I upgraded the interior to the jdm SiR
Did u lowered it and what kit did u used
Tein coilovers
My prelude looks soooo similar to yours! I just bought some type sh rims for it (mine is a type se) and after those go on and I get the lower fog lights and the jdm badge mine will be almost a copy of yours exterior wise lol
The 2017 accord sport wheels would look dope 👌
ik it doesn’t make sense to race these in this setting but that was fun to watch
Any close race is a good race. And sh vs base has always been a debate among prelude owners.
@@Exhaust_power its the same engine if anything the SH is heavier but not enough to make a difference lol they are the same just a different model lol Base and not base idk how they could debate this lol now if there was a Type R or SI i could understand lol
Currently running this same setup on my Q50s & I’ve got a lot of videos on my channel if you’re interested 😉
Have the same exhaust on my 3.7. Theyre pretty difficult to find here in Ontario. It really does make the car sound as it SHOULD.
Where’d you get ur’s from ??
@@Michael98767 signed up on an infiniti q50 forum and found one on the classified section. Bought it for $700 from a guy in NY. For just the axleback pipes.
Where did you get the carbon fiber interior trim?
Before they sold out back in the day I was able to purchase online
*супер и привет от тренера по футболу!!*
what’s the difference between base and SH tho?
Rear wheels steer
SH is super handling with ATTS
@@babarain99 not with the 5th gen
SH mean super heavy 🙃🤣
@@calumwilson1120 yes with the 5th gen, europe only though
I think I bought floor carpet from you lol
I've owned my 2001 SH since 2005, 2nd owner, never bored of it, can't see myself giving her up any time soon.
Why even bother compare a likewise car. This would have been all about the driver …..
That is correct !
Súper yo tengo un 95 👍🏻
