Unfortunately that's what happens when your routine isn't smartly constructed... Several gymnasts at these Games got hit hard for the same problems. The most similar case to Ana was Laetitia Dugain.

No one is talking about the fact that She stepped out of bounds!! I watched the Olympics it was clearly Her not Sabrina Ana does not deserve that Medal!!!

I really don't understand what people see in this routine. Tumbling was great yes. However the impression of this routine sucks. Her transitional choreography between her 1st and 2nd pass were very weak and basic. A 7 year old could do it.

When I was very young, I got a very distorted video from this routine. I barely could see her face. The song was extremely weird and used to give me goosebumps. I thought it was some satanic song or whatever. Now, in 2024, I can see and hear clearly how incredible the song and the routine really is. Thanks!

Used to think the Romanian team was joyless and stoic until I learned they receive a lifetime salary, amount depending on which medal they receive. This was a job for them and all business. I appreciate that seeing here in America we do nothing for our athletes and have many former gold medal winners who brought glory and pride to our country, homeless and on the streets. In order to do sports in this country you have to have wealthy parents, whereas there you receive full scholarship.
