Fastest stock Accord 2.0T 0-60 mph launch
No wheelspin launch with 245/40R19 Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires. Timer stopped right before 60 mph because of the taller height of the tire

I farted in your car
Nice, I’ve seen other guy do the same. I could never launch mine that well. Any tips? Mine makes 340hp.
I saw a dude in a stock 2019 accord 2.0t get 5.1 on regular fuel. Guy said he used different tires for traction. found the link here: ruclips.net/video/1rLbUb17ivg/видео.html
Sticky tires and completely turn tc off through pedal dance. Little bit of luck involved with shift points as it’ll automatically shift no matter but sometimes it’ll will rev out nicely.
@ I’m assuming you don’t floor it either? Just maybe like start with 1/4-1/2 then floor it? I’m still on stick tires but I bet I could get low 4s with my setup
@@garrettmiller5356 once you’re tuned I think you’d still blow your tires off with good tires if launching in first. I’d say try to go full throttle off the go but leave in 2nd. In 2nd it’ll brake torque to a higher rpm which may also help with any turbo lag. He floors it in this video though and id know cuz I’m his brother
@ Ok. Yeah my car is definitely a roll race car. You drive anything cool?
The V6 is well faster than the 2.0

My 2007 accord with the 2.4l K24 can do 129.
@@brayannexon4613 this is limited to 124 and your shitbox would take 3-5 business days getting there

@@AgentElite_ I agree
Feels like a good engine candidate to swap into a honda fit
Never really thought these 2.0s have top end. These really shine 0-80ish (with tune + upgraded tire)
The top end is pretty good, better than a 330i and almost as quick as a tlx type s lol
Bro put it in D after S never use L unless your stuck in something
What's that rattling at the beginning?
Cvr
Looked at a CRV and chose to avoid the tiny turbo. It makes me think of a gerbil on crack running on the wheel until it dies. Couldn’t get past that image. Looked at a local dealer for a small GM car, same issue. RAV4 was first choice but was thousands more than Subaru. Pretty happy with the Forester Wilderness so far.
That sounds like a Passat but as a diesel
The M50i does 0-60 in 4 seconds and with a dähler stage 1 tune 3.4 to 60.
Ah yes real CVT!!
why didn't it simulate gears ? and how do you get it to anyway
Low gear
Brake boosting a CVT isn't worth it lol. Not only it damages it but you lose time.
i shaved off 0.4 seconds by brake boosting, and idc about the cvt lol
I love pork bone soup
This feels very fast for a hybrid? Am I tripping?
CVT is the most disgusting transmission in history
Timed at around 5.4-5.6 seconds
As an executive warranty claims administrator I can attest I’ve approved and denied countless cvt warranty claims on Honda. My advice would be to change your transmission fluid every 30k miles and avoid harsh, or abrupt change in acceleration.
Honda clutch and cvt material are garbage
in "L" is crazy and rip cvt
Why is the L crazy?

Since when are Honda Accords running sub-6 second 0-60s?! Very impressive.
Since about the mid 2000's I'd say.
Made bro whimper
I hit 120 in this
Lol it does certainly get movin
These 2.0Ts definitely run well if you put good gas in the tank. The stock tires are a limitation too and simply upgrading to a good set of sticky summer performance tires is worth a few tenths in itself. And then once you tune it the fun really starts. The 6 speeds are fun, but that 10 speed with a tuned K20C is something special.

I should have bought 3 of these cars when they were still new in dealerships. I’ve been looking for a clean 2.0T Sport with under 40K to do a build with for a couple months now to no avail. They either have too high mileage or they have a 1.5 under the hood lol. I went and looked at one yesterday with 61k that I was borderline considering but it had these big gaudy rims on it and the factory wheels were sold to purchase them. Pass. I might have to end up doing a 2.0 TLX but they’re a few hundred pounds heavier out of the gate and already a few tenths slower than an Accord as a result.
definitely do not buy a 2.0t tlx, wait for a nice 2.0t or honestly just wait and save up for an m340i, it's the next step for most 2.0t owners do anyway (me included) lmao
@@mrmotionman69 I hate German cars personally; complete PITA to work on. Whatever I pull the trigger on will definitely be something with a K20C though. I already have ~600whp worth of parts ready for the build that I got as payment for some work off a customers CTR. The Accord I want to build for playing around on some AutoX courses. Ive got a 10R80/Coyote RCSB F-150 with a Whipple 3L kit on it that I use for work. I absolutely love the 10 speed in the truck and having that many gear ratios which is why I want something with a 10 speed in it for this build as well. If I was willing to go back to a 6MT I would just build a used CTR and be done with it lol.
@@kennethpowers8995 yeah the stock 10-speed is pretty dope but definitely needs a tcu tune (which no one has done yet) for higher power levels since it short shifts a lot in the upper gears. also the newer b58 in the m340i is really reliable and pretty easy to work on from what i've seen on my friends' cars, but to each their own. i just don't want to mod this car bc i could mod this car to be as fast as an m340i (big turbo, cooling, tires, mounts, etc) or use that money and make a 700 whp m340i on stock internals lol
Try doing this again but stay in S mode

These CVTs are dogs off the line but they’re not terrible once you get them wound up. The catch 22 with them though is the CVTs actually run really well from a roll once you do a few bolt ons and a tune, but once you start making the torque level of bolt ons and a tune things start to get too rough on the CVT. Belt stretch and then eventually slippage is the main concern. Everything else can pretty much be held off with frequent fluid changes.
How's the fuel consumption compared to the 1.5 litre?
to be honest, the 2.0t mpg is pretty bad in the city, you will get 17-23 max compared to 28-35 for the 1.5t. on the highway, 2.0t will get 28-34 and the 1.5t will get 35-40 depending how you drive. the difference in power is well worth it tho
I have a OTS tuned Si with a few mods, and my avg mpg after 3k miles is 33.2. I beat on the car too.
was it stock during this?
yes, 100% stock
2ND gear start 👏👏
