After letting the epoxy primer sit for a few days to allow for shrink back now, it is time to apply our final layer of our urethane high build primer. This final coat of primer will allow us to finish any small amounts of body work that still remain. Before we can apply our final coat of primer, there are some preparations that we must do first. 1. Lightly block sand the epoxy primer with 220 g...

Hi, please say name wheels, nice video! Like
Friend lastmane. In tijuana ita otero as well.... he used to recide in texas
Outstanding work bro! All on your own. Should be proud of yourself! Thing is awesome. Working on trying to get a full part list for a kswap for my 94 mr2 also. Inspired. Hope to see more videos!!
more power to you bro!! new subscriber!
Damn the shed came out sick, had some really good cinematic angles throughout, quality going up.
Hey man quick question, is there any benefit to running the budget k swap header versus a stock header? With the toyonda budget exhaust will the stock header fit? Is the budget exhaust header bigger in diameter? Just wondering if it’s worth or needed for the extra 75$
I actually have both and going to compare the 2 in my next mr2 video. Port size wise and if the toyonda exhaust will bolt up to the stock headers. I can try to bolt up the exhaust to the stock header outside the car to see if it’ll fit and let you know.
@@jastinotero2539 cool thnx man
Sorry for the late response, been busy lately. If using the toyonda budget exhaust the factory header will not fit with out cutting the exhaust and having to weld new flanges. Factory is 1 1/2 diameter for the runners Toyonda is 1 5/8 diameter. Little more air flow. I have more coming in the next mr2 video.
I’ll never forget when we were removing that old wet plywood and seeing 30 roaches planning world domination 😂
The next part wasn’t far off from that moment. It was for sure interesting.
It’s looking amazing! The Pepsi was totally earned. Can’t wait for the final reveal!
Thank you for your support! Can’t wait to see how this one turns out.
yessir i’m currently doing mine right now
I will be having the entire series coming out soon, unfortunately had some unplanned projects took priority. Video on that coming out soon. Thank you for the support!
Keep pushing 🤘
Appreciate you man 👍🏼
Nice man. What kit did you use
Swap kit is from toyonda.
What high angle tension bar do you have ?
S13 ISR offset angled tension arms.
Wheres the new video
Working on it for the new year, unfortunately I’ve been far too busy with school. Thanks for staying tuned I appreciate it!
Clean
Thank you!
Nice bro! Just picked up a 94 na that I’m going to k swap!
Good stuff man, you’re going to love working on a mr2 when it has all the space from a k series.
Great video! Thanks for the tips! I have a K20Z3 transmission with LSD numbered MN3 7RPN and thankfully it has the threaded bolt holes needed for the mounts. I hope it works.
Thanks for the input, glad you found the video useful.
Wait…you can’t use 8th gen civic si trans(Z3)? It says on toyonda’s website that they work for k20a2,a3, k20z1, and z3. That’s what I’m planning on using I hope that’s not the case.
The 8th gen si trans comes factory with a LSD which is why I wanted to use it. You can use the 8th gen trans but they don’t have the two mounting holes for the 4th motor mount. You would need to swap the internals of the si trans into an ep3 or a rsx case. In the next episode I talk about fuel system, sorry for the delay this hurricane stuff has been a huge monkey wrench.
I think you’re mistaken man. See, I’m also in the process of swapping my mr2 with a jdm k24 and using k20z3 trans for factory LSD. I just spoke with the guy over at toyonda. He said k20z3 trans is no problem with 4th mount. He thinks it’s the k24z3 that doesn’t have the two bolt holes for the subframe mount. Correct me if I’m wrong here but I hope I’m not because then I will have to buy another trans lol.
If you already own the trans check it out see if it has the mounting points. I’ll be home in a couple of days I’ll check a friends 8th gen and let you know. Possibly someone sold me the wrong transmission.
Nice. I want to see how much u make hp with the toyonda budget exhaust.
I’m eager to see what it’ll make as well, hoping to make something around 240whp.
This thing needs to see action again!
For sure it does, hopefully on the road soon.
Awesome video! I’m on the edge between this and the villains angle kit for my silvia s14 but I like that this is slightly cheaper and reversible if I want to remove it down the road or ever need replacement flca! Tough choice but this almost seems like the better option!
Appreciate the support! I like that you are using stock parts and have the option of changing your car from the “drift” to the “grip” position. You could take your car to a drift event and be one quick change and an aliment away from a more daily/track suspension.
That Home Depot cart still putting in work to this day
