Hello Deniss, we have a local club were u can be a member for small amount money….i think around 250 local divers you can go for boblefri.no and be a member and there u will find me also, also Havkongen.no can arrange trips for people who wants to learn, i’m not into teaching, but most of the time u will find me with the people at Havkongen 😊

Hi Justas, primarily regarding the weather, we sometimes have "a little" wind here in the area, so what I look for is wind direction and wind strength. Try as far as possible to find places that lie in the lee of the wind... this also to avoid high waves in the area. If it's cloudy, it's my favorite, then when it's sunny, we get the sun's rays slanting into the water and spoil the visibility. The places I seek out/look for I find on maps of the sea where depths and such are indicated. I like to swim far, so exploring places where you might have to swim "a few" kilometers I really just see as a bonus exercise 😅 We've always heard that especially here in my area, the fish disappear in the winter, but with a little patience and dare to spend a lot of time and we find the fish and it is usually around 15m and down 👌🏻

@@justasjustas9957 When it is winter and the temperature here in the area is lower than 9 degrees, the fish move deeper, so in many cases you have to search well and for a long time to find the fish. You just have to know where to look...

@@justasjustas9957 Keep an eye on when the temperature rises and passes around 8-9 degrees (April/May) then things start to happen in the sea such as blooms of algae etc. At least this is what happens in my immediate area. In other places, such as in northern Norway, these things are different, where the Gulf Stream flows and provides nourishment in completely different ways. Do you live near here or are you thinking about general spearfishing everywhere? What I am writing to you is what I have experienced for the most part here where I hunt the fish👌🏻🤠

Hi Peter, yes u can be lucky to find a 5kg, but for bigger fish u must travel more north in Norway….Bergen and further north….But yes u can be lucky buy they are rare here, unfortunatley…. The smaller the fish the better hunter u become….

Thanks Rune I think it is so wierd that there are only small fish in Rogaland - do you think that is because of extended overfishing? We are thinking about hitting some of the 20-30 meter deep boulders outside of Kvitsoy to see if we can find some bigger fish.. I don’t agree with the small fish making you better - they are usually very stupid and easy to shoot whereas the large fish requires a lot more patience and skills to get to..

@@peter2611 I think you can try outside Kvitsøy i’ve never been there so i can’t say……i’ve been talking to local fishermen even they ask me if i see larger cod. I’m not sure if it’s overfishing. The biggest fish i have heard of here in Rogaland caught by spearfisher is on or about the range of 5-6kg but it’s rear.

Forholdene er til tider bra ifra slutten av mars-november. I vinter månedene går fisken dypere og forsvinner…..men ja dårr e fin fisk i byfjorden😊

Amazing to see your perception of our hunt for food. All fish in the film are eaten on the trip or taken home. Do you think the fish is already filleted in the freezer counter? Have never abused a fish and how you can draw that conclusion only you can answer .... Stick your finger in the ground and use your head for what it is for.
