REVIEW: Gen 1 S10 grab handle saver from Buddies' Garage
Просмотров 1,3 тыс.3 года назад
It is a longstanding issue with Gen 1 S10s, and Buddies' Garage has a product to deal with it! From the manufacturer: Stainless steel Grab Handle Savers are CNC laser cut and formed to fit 1986-1993 GM S-series and 1994 S-series SUVs. Protect armrests from abuse/ damage. Even if the armrest base is already broken, the design sandwiches the grab area to the steel support behind the door panel, p...

Bad driver: Blows tire off, keeps driving

I saw this with my own eyes. Followed the guy from simply having low air until he went into the grass. Couldn't capture it all as I was driving, but WOW! Omg I feel like I just watched an episode of King of the Hill after listening to this backdrop music.
Its basically impossible to beat a Suburban's versatility. The one vehicle that you groe into and can do everything you need to get your and your future family/friends where youre going and back safely.
Best built silverados 99-06
1:43 A *WHAT* VEHICLE?!?!
Can’t believe this thing lasted until 2552
The music GM used in these videos was stock music which is royalty free. Why put that lame stuff over the audio ?? It's impossible to hear what they're saying.
The swing out window was a death trap for littles fingers.... 😂 I vividly remember pinching my fingers in Dad's 95 when I was kid on a road trip to Texas. Had to pull over, hahaha.
I bought mine new in 89, and still have it. It's true about the engine bay. It was the first hose/wire free engine compartment sense the 60's. Even A/C models had a clean engine bay... and hearing that they thought of the owner servicing the truck... making an effort to make that easy, is something that is long gone these days. I consider these the last true GM/Chevy trucks ever made. You can restore these to like new condition, and not even get close to the cost of a new one today.
I've never seen a 5.0 berlinetta.
I've got four Cavaliers. 1988 - 1994. Fantastic cars.
I bought my 2001 LS brand new and love it's features, especially the huge trunk. I have hauled long pieces of lumber in it with the back seats folded down. It suits me as the perfect car. It has over 380,000 original miles on the 3.8 engine. I regularly get 32 mpg or better. I change the oil every 3,000 miles. It runs like new. Mechanics tell me this is best motor Chevy ever made. Yeah!
I would like to place my order, 2dr. White with a.c.!😮
That tow truck at the end did it for me
I would like to order mine, 4x4 white, a.c. with a manual . 😮
They might have been antiquated by this point , but i remember seeing these things everywhere 😊
These are great cars no they shouldn’t have been rear wheel drive because they would be like the rest of these junk sports cars these kids tear up now (maybe AWD) very relywhen you take care of them like any car
That's impossible 5400 lb
5400 pounds
Hard to believe there was a time in America we're there were so many choices, trucks engineered and design with practicality and value , unlike today's trucks, excessively large and complicated, design criteria focused on size styling and maximum profit, I would take any one of these trucks over any new truck today, Thanks for perseving American automotive history.
Black lady surprised by girls new car "when did you get a truck?!" "why a Truck?!" Moments later, "it doesn't look like a truck!" 🤦
I would love to have one with the 4.3 Liter V6 engine as I feel it had one of the best powertrains in a smaller pickup.
I thought the 5 speed manual wasn't available until the 1983 model year.
I had an 83 K5 Blazer with the 6.2 diesel. In two-wheel drive it got 22 mpg. City and highway.
What the hell happened in 7:26?
Thanks, this is a great video.
Fog lights should have been standard.
Chevrolet antes sabía hacer autos bellos
My 1982 s 10 tahoe,convertion 4 door,Whit ,s10 blazer jymmy,,work god,,im from san pedro coahuila Mexico 2:03 .😊
Muy silverado z71 320.000 y sigue 💪💪💪💪
86 chevette was my first car in 97. It was passed down through my family as a first car. It was horrible. SLOW and hard to steer. Brakes went to the floor and it diddnt run in the rain. It would also shake for several minutes AFTER I turned it off and parked it. It was hilarious. I would be walking away after parking and it would be shaking and making these crazy clunking sounds. I sold it in 99 for $200 before i moved across country. Oh yeah, The fabric on the interior roof was hanging down and I stapled it. I also had to wire these old school wooden speakers meant for a home stereo system to the tape deck and laid them down in the back hatch back space. I smoked a lot of pot in HS and the car was so slow it was perfect hahahaha.
Cool
Cool beautiful car
In Brazil it's a police car😂
Cool
i just got one and it might end up as my second vheicle. It definitely falls into the 'so ugly its cute' realm. I can't wait to get it fully checked over, maybe have some suspension components changed... Its a fun little car. Only thing is that i wish it had a stickshift. The vheicle handles suprisingly well in turns, at least thus far.
I'd drive that over a Tesla Cybertruck any day :D
The narrator forgot to mention - fold down the rear seat, and 12 sheets of 4x8 sheetrock or plywood can also be easily transported.
Road jolts brah
Excellent model
Like a rock 🪨 I’m a die hard obs fan . This is an awesome video . Bow tie till I die .
My 2002 suburban is still running strong with 215,000 miles
315k on mine
Thank you for preserving this! I was a whitewater raft guide on the New River back then and a few of us watched them film it from a switchback on Fayette Station Road. They dropped it multiple times, tho - 3, if my memory is correct. They moved the crane off the bridge out of the shot each time after they got the truck set up. But yeah, a dude rode the headache ball down each time to connect the hook to the truck. Thanks again for preserving this! A great memory from a great time in my life!
My 2000 has 303.000mi and counting
probably just mention you don't use timing belt as a plus. save at least 1k .
Damn I feel pumped from that.
Those are the absolute wrong ones they are not 2000 at all they are 1999 the last year of the GMT400’s the GMT800 SUVs were new for 2000 in October 1999 😠
They had tranny problems, Thin uncomfortable seats, and Overheated on long trips.
There's still a market today for small pickups like this, but nobody wants to build them anymore.
Old school cool! 😁
10:10 yeah the s10 loses that one and im not die hard ford
