Finally beat him. Frustrating, but honestly.......I'm glad this fight was in the game. By far the hardest dojo training partner. Really forced me to learn to block, parry, and read my opponents movements. That said, I only got a Novice Rank lol

The fact there is no explanation on how to open the door at the tower of penance makes this literaly missng steps. Why does every walkthrouh on this game skip steps via short cuts rather tha actually showing the player

The best part about Ichiban? He has literally every single reason to hate the world, hate the yakuza, hate everything that's happened in his life. But he doesn't. He just stands up, that goofy smile plastered on his face, and braves whatever comes his way. There is zero vitriol in his heart. He will see the good in everyone and everything wherever possible. Life dealt him the shittiest hand, yet he still manages to come out on top with a royal flush every single time. Sure, he's a little stupid, but every real man ought to be. Ichiban is the epitome of the indomitable human spirit. Be like Ichiban, and if you can't, strive to be, little by little.

Its blocked for me dude even tho i didnt kill that one boss where the door was i quit the game came back on the next day i have his weapon and hes not there anymore and the door is blocked still im so confused cause i didnt defeat him 😂

ichiban is the embodiment of “I have no enemies”

My theory on how Kiryu will live on. Bryce Fairchild looked like he hadn’t aged a day and theoretically 90 years old. They never explained how or why, nor do we know Bryce’s fate after the fight at Palekana island. Safe to assume he’s in prison. In the next game, they could discover how he’s treated his body so well and use that to find a cure for Kiryu’s illness. We all want to see him grow old and reunited with his kids. I hope my theory is correct and they don’t do anything stupid like kill him off.

The great thing about Ichiban is that they never try to make him overshadow Kiryu in terms of strength or achievements. They don't tear Kiryu down to build him up. He's hjs own character and therfore has his own story. Kiryu is held in as high of a regard as when he was the main character and anyone who says otherwise is treated as the outlier.

it is so confuse to find the things , at least the game should have a map so you can mark the places you saw and etc , but the main point here was to make you take more time within the game so you could not see that the game is short!

Here after beating Like a Dragon Infinite wealth in my birthday, what a game, what a journey, what a ending, what a song...one of my favorites games ever.

I literally just counter sparked FOUR whole attacks and not once did a window open for me to attack him.

I get they want to make challenging fights but the amount of attacks this guy throws at you is ridiculous. Trying to counterspark a ten shot attack then immediately after having to counter another completely random attack before you can even get a few hits in.

My lord that noise he makes gets extremely annoying VERY fast.

Love the art style love the gameplay and allot of the level design is cool and creative but MAN it’s sooooo easy to get lost

I'm having so much trouble trying to figure out the parry timing for this guy.

This ending probably would've worked better if we got to see Eiji get absolutely wrecked when he got home to Japan and saw how quickly "his" audience turned against him. If they showed us his leg getting broken on-screen, people would probably not hate this ending so much. Even though it wouldn't actually change what happened, as an audience we need to see at least one of the three main villains get properly broken by the consequences of their actions alone.

The way Ichiban smiled that split second while getting beat up hits different.

thing with this bitch is this SoB combo is too long and he keep putting me into corner even if i parry his attack, make camera so fucking wonky to parry his last teleport attack, also keep NPC with double charge while constant nerfing player weapon is so fucking annoying, this studio is known for do nothing but nerfed since nioh, why TF they even care, it has no pvp, not even souls game does such intense nerfed

Finally got the master rank from this guy. Took me like 100 tries. Trick is to parry his 1st and 3rd strikes and cant use a single potion.
