i was diagnosed with a brain tumor when i was 5 when i was about 3 months they finaly realized i was blind in my right eye and it turned out the tumor was why it had went from my brain and into my eye they told my mom there was really nothing they could do and all we could do was just wait but everyone prayed i went back one last time when i was 8 and they told me that the tumor was gone and i didnt have ANY treatment at all god heals u just have to have faith! it gets better im 13 now <3

I am a chilhood brain cancer survivor...Pilocytic-astrocytona....had it since at least age 7....one major brain operation as an adult....but they could not get it all....No chemo...No radition......I will be 48...there are other ways...God bless..

I've gotta say, after seeing all these tumors in other people, it's makes my experience seem like no big deal. I got off easy with one surgery to remove mine. All that was left over was a couple scars, a mostly controllable lazy eye, and a tiny bald spot.

This guy at my school, a friend, had a stroke and they found a brain tumor. This freaked me out, because he's active, and funny; just an average highschool guy! It reminded me that I needa stop thinking that nothing will happen to me and others I know. You know, how we think, "oh. that won't happen to me!" Our school is selling T-shirts on Cancer awareness, and all the money raised will go to the guy's family.

My dad was diagnosed with a brain tumor. It all happened so fast. He's doing radiation right now. But with people that have his tumor 10 percent of people are living After 5 years. I cried all throughout this video.

It's a scary thing, tumors. I had a tumor removed from the penial region of my brain when I was barely 12. It was the size of a golf ball. It had given me massive headaches followed by puking. It also pressed on my optic nerve, so my right eye can sometimes go off to the side. The blocked spinal fluid had to be removed from the front and the tumor from the back. In my case, I turned out fine, but my heart goes to all the people who have it just as bad or worse. Keep on fighting, people.

Yep, I found that out a few weeks ago.... The headaches went away.. but i still have the ringing in the ears, but its so light, i barely notice it. I can sleep with no problem, Can it get worse?

im only 18 and i have barain tumor... yes im very depresed... but hell i wont give up that easy. altho sometimes i want it to be over...i didnt checket in hospital about the tumor. im just scared... anyway they would say something that i really dont want to hear. im shure i have cancer. i feel all the symptoms... even my head size changed a lil. im not afraid of death... i just havent done anything in my life...

my mother survived a 99% 3 year brain tumer with 3 surgeries. her tumors wnt stop coming bak. shes excpected to die in may. frst her licence is gon. then she will hav no feel for the left half of her face then death plz support cancer. there r some kids hoo will grow up with the memory of there moms and never see them again

update: my brother passed away on Saturday 8/29/09 at 5:30 PM he was 28yrs old .He went peacefully but We will surely miss him.......I have a big family, 5 kids all together and it is very hard to beleive one of my brothers will never be there again, but atleast he will not have to fight it anymore, Thanks to all who have checked in on me, It is much appreciated and God Bless you

thanks for your response, I am trying to keep the faith, it's just really hard at this stage of the tumor, it is very agressive and he cant move either arms nor legs right now.. thanks again for your comment, I appreciate it. It helps to talk to ppl who have gone through similar things

I had the Petscan & then a week later went to my Neurologist. He said that my Arachnoid Cyst isn't growing. However, I'm feeling worst than before & I don't know if that's the result of the medicines I'm taking. Earlier today I had a mild seizure even though I'm taking Keppra 500 Mg twice daily. I have another appointment on July 30 in which case, the Doc would decide surgery or just treatment. Something isn't right. I've seen many patients arguing with the neurologist & his staff.

I have heard of cases where people thought the condition leading to death was imminent & out of the blue, the condition went into remission. Often, we tend to accept the worst without hoping for the best. I do believe in miracles & so can you. Don't give up hope and faith. After all, that's what keep us going day by day. Have you try alternatives?.
