Pro tip from a former Patroller. Once you outrun ski patrol they radio down the MTN. Usually at the bottom there's only security unless another Patroller is below. They radio in your outfit. Wearing orange pants is like driving a red Lamborghini on the Highway. You're going to standout. Switch to black pants, black jacket.

At Whistler in Canada you can ski in areas that are roped off or outside the ski area boundary, as long as it does not say closed. If you do go, you take all the risks and rescue costs and you better know what you are doing.

Went there on the solar eclipse weekend and enjoyed this pow too. Absolutely incredible that we got so much snow late in the season! Also, why were there no people on the mountain? I would've expected more people to be there on a pow day!

I love all the cheesy " Where are the parents" comments here. They are not there... probably cuz they can't hang! No disrespect to the parents. I'm 53 and can't hang with my kids riding. If you guys were riders back in the day (90's), the skiers would chase you to the bottom to report ANY wrong doing. Be thankful it's 2020's lil' bros! Keep ripping! 🏂

Used to have a coat that was green on the outside but orange on the inside. Used to duck patrol all the time and just flip the coat after likely being reported. I was always safe around kids and always safe around groups and on slow runs... but too many ski patrol have a HUGE power trip. You're a MALL cop on a mountain... STFU and do some actual work instead of trying to stop people and get your dumbass quota met. Half of them aren't even good skiers/boarders.
