Done Building Cat Perches
In this video, I finished building my last cat perches for a while. This build was a lot of fun, even with the mistakes that I made. Hope you enjoy.

DIY Truck bed reach tool heavy duty
Просмотров 8168 месяцев назад
I've been needing a reach tool for my, new to me, pickup truck. Today I make one that will withstand all that I will put it through. I made one years ago for my last truck that I have been calling "my knee saver". It has served me well, but it's time for one that is a little more substantial. These are the links for the parts I bought for this project: www.homedepot.com/p/Wooster-Wooster-Sherlo...

Small Leather Projects. Simple Wallet
Просмотров 57Год назад
This is the first in a series of videos made specifically for some of my Sister-in-law's students. This video is the making of a simple wallet using a by-hand saddle stitch. The tools were chosen because they don't cost much, they are easy to get ahold of, and they work. Feel free to leave ideas in the comments of simple projects good for beginners or something that you need help with. We will ...
Small Leather Projects. Intro to Tools

I explain the tools that I will use in a series of videos made specifically for some of my Sister-in-law's students. These tools were chosen for them for useability, cost and availability. In other words, they don't cost much, they are easy to get ahold of, and they work. This is specifically designed for beginners with little to no experience. Below is a list of everything I used in this video...

So cool! What spoiled kitties you must have! But sweet creatures like that deserve the best!
They are definitely spoiled.
That's what the Secret Service needs to drag Joe Biden off stage.
😂It will definitely not break under the strain.
An ex employer of mine used the same painter's pole for the same exact reason. But his hook was waaaaayyyy simpler than yours. He just screwed a paint roller on the end, removed the rotating cage, and was left with a longer hook than you used. Sometimes simpler is better.
That is a good idea. Simple and effective. Your right sometimes simpler is better. It also depends on the use. My use requires a small robust hook. Thanks for the input. I might use it in the future if the need arises. Thanks for watching.
Simpler may be as equally effective but it doesn’t mean it’s better. This is useful and it looks nice! Why not have the best of both worlds? Great job Tad!
Way too much work. Split a 2x4 down screw a garage hook on the end , paint it the color of your truck bed that's all.
🤣 it's not work for me, it's fun! Your idea would definitely work just fine. I enjoy a challenge. I also wanted something that would collapse to take up less room when not in use. Thanks for the input.... and thanks for watching 👀.
WAYYYYY too much work why would I split a 2x4 and screw a garage hook on the end AND paint it, when I could just go to amazon that’s all.
way too much work. If i didn’t want to work why would i get a truck also why use caps and y’s that also too much work
Such a simple, but crazy useful tool!
Thanks!
Great job! I’ve got quite a few Husky Connect boxes as well. Nice bang for the buck!
Thanks! My first system and still has more pros than cons.
I saw the video from today 2/20. Thought I saw a pull out on the box on the cleat. Turns out I was right. I watched this video to confirm. I love pullouts.
The more I use them, the more I love them. Thanks for watching.
You shop is definitely looking more organized already!!
Definitely!!
Just think how much you could get finished off of your honey-do list if you could really move this fast!!
🤣🤣🤣 I know right!
So Smart! Looks very sleek. And great vid. Love seeing the thought process as it's happening. Almost makes me want to get containers so I can build these, knowing me tho I'd get everything for the project and then forgot I was going to do it LOL!
Thank you. I'm sure I'll have more vids on making stuff for the french cleats. It's a great system for the DIYer.
I like the look of that stitch you did. How much thread do you use? 5, 6, 7 ??? times the length of length.
Thank you. It is one of my favorite stitches. It has great elements: fast, strong, and great looking. For that 4" section I pulled a little over 6' and had about 1 1/2' left. It comes out to about 9 times per leg, so a total 18 times the length. It seems like a lot but I would much rather have way too much then not enough. Hopefully this answers your question.
Thank you and Happy Holidays!
Same to you!
Thanks for slowing the measurement and mathing parts down for some of us who take a little longer to get it!
No problem.
Cool! I am looking forward to seeing the finished hymn book!
It's done video should be posted by the end of the week.
