Note the dry air intake snorkel up high and dry. Normally the intake is main deck level or on the sides of the hull. Salt air mist in the engine compartment greatly accelerates corrosion. Especially bad for everything electrical

I used to work at a Kawasaki/SeaDoo shop in North Carolina and we got skis in all the time that were involved in accidents like this. They went out of their way to jump wakes of boats and close to shore. They would hit sand bars and bust out the bottom of the hull. So many stupid thrill seekers.😡
