Welcome to the channel. We share videos about our van life - as we do it.
We travel in the UK and Europe, mostly off grid, sometimes using Aires and rarely using campsites. We travel with 2 border collies.
We hope to upload one to two videos per week depending on how much we travel and how quickly we learn to put together videos.
Our content will be about the places we visit, the journeys we make, our hacks and tips for van life and of course about our Rattly Etrusco campervan.

Camping Arrolla Switzerland - Europe's highest campsite. A site worth visiting with fantastic views.
Some views from our pitch at Camping Arrolla - the best campsite! We rarely use campsites, preferring wild off-grid park ups in our Etrusco campervan - but this one in Switzerland is worth the detour. At 1950m (6400 ft), it's Europe's highest site. A Switzerland road trip video will be coming soon.

My first go at climbing a Wainright in the Lake District with my collies. Camping solo & off grid at Hollows Farm campsite in our Etrusco Campervan to walk to Castle Crag. I cook some typical (for us) van food - Knock off Cassoulet & touch on my transplant & van life

Another quick Off-Grid van adventure (40 hours) in the Yorkshire Dales in our Etrusco. It has been raining heavily and the rivers are not safe to swim in. Yorkshire Dales, Aysgarth (St Andrew's Church) West Burton and Buckden. Our van life with our Border Collies.

A quick Etrusco Campervan road trip to the Lake District, parking up in remote Langdale and then rising early for a scenic walk into the hills to Whorneyside Force for a swim. Go early & beat the tourists.

Vanlife - one night off grid wild camp in the Dales to take an early cold water dip / wild swim at Janet's Foss the following morning. Remote park up surrounded by Highland cows who entertain our border collies. Early cold water dip at Janet's Foss and a look at Gordale scar. A snippet of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Our last few days in Scotland in the Etrusco campervan with the collies heading back to England. Cocoa Mountain, Shin Falls, a wild swim at the Fairy Glen falls, Linn of Tummel before crossing the border back to England and finishing at The Highest Pub in the UK - The Tan Hill Inn.

The pool at Wain Wath Falls, just west of Keld in Swaledale is probably the best place in the Dales for wild swimming. The Falls are wide and only about 6 feet high so the currents are gentle, and it's right by the side of the road.
How is it your dogs went from blue merle to black and white ,i have both kinds
They haven't actually been blue merle. Mabel has a rough coat and is actually tri colour although it's not obvious & Roy is just black & white with a smooth coat. Mabel does have some grey as she's old.

Yes - no problems. I was a bit concerned about the top of the hill but they were ok.

This is like watching a indie film. I love it! No music, no chatter, just ambient noises and the mundane things that make up a road trip, shot in a minimalist way. Suits the bleak beauty of Orkney.
I did all of The Lakes in the winter og 2021. On my own in new to me Motor Home. Got map at Conneston Musium.£5.00. Covered evey Pass and Waterfall. I free parkef no problem. It even snowed a little. Turned into a Wonderland.
