It's crazy how athletic and flexible the Poffo brothers were. Randy would jump from the top turnbuckle and deliver an axe handle to a guy on the concrete outside of the ring and he did it like it was nothing! Lanny was super agile and his cartwheels were smooth as hell lol. Also at 23:13 you have the Hogan math way before the Steiner math haha! Hogan's promos are very underrated IMO. He did good work with Lanny - their encounter is very entertaining. Too bad the sound of the video is broken.

In 1986 The guys who ended up in Dr know were in Stalag 13 on the back and bent on destruction tour. I have a few live songs I recorded when they played peoples park in Isla Vista doing the songs that would later be on the Dr know album wreckage in flesh. In 1987 my old band the Condemned opened for DRI and DOA at the Oxnard Community center. The red barn was always fun and seemed like there was always a show happening there.

I like seeing all the old flyers. My friends and I went to a lot of those shows back in the day. Somewhere I still have a bunch of the old 60 miles north fanzines. 7:53 my old band V.O.S. is on the flyer We played shows with a lot of the Oxnard bands. living in carp we were like the red head step child. neither Ventura/Oxnard or Santa Barbara.

So I’ve done a deep dive over this movie this past week or so and I must say Bradford and Michael are so articulate and intelligent. I really hope the 30th anniversary will bring a decent re release or maybe even China and some others we haven’t heard recollections about the movie yet. It seems it’s caught so much steam since the Covid days seeing as most interviews are post 2019-2020.

Watched this movie twice over the weekend once the wife and kids were in bed. Took me back to my teenage years when I first watched it in 1999. Love it! Needs to be aired again and trigger the offended people of the day.

The flyer at the 6 minute mark was my very first punk show , a friend invited me to go and to say I was scared was an understatement , but by the end of the night I felt a little more comfortable and accepted . Oh yeah , my friend also got his arm broke that night . And bring 14 in 1984 was absolutely great for music.
