odio los covers de Queen porque NADIE esta nunca a la altura de ellos. intentarlo es un fracaso y humillacion el %99 de los casos. esta version, sin embargo representa ese %1 que consiguió ser digno de la genialidad de Queen.
This is the soundtrack version, you can tell at 2:18 because you can't hear the woman's high note. Don't blame you for not knowing though because the soundtrack released for this movie was awful, a lot of the main songs aren't in it and the ones that are can be heavily altered in some parts. The movie versions will always reign supreme
First time I saw, at the beginning of the film, I thought He was the main antagonist, the one to be between the couple to get the money for the play. But this scene? If all that happened before wasn't enough, this scene kills completely that impression. Even as he screams "the show must go on", what he has is nothing but a devastated expression. Everything is wrong. A perfect love is about to be shattered, and he has part in it. But everything that is important, for him, for the Moulin Rouge, for his girl, everything is on this show. So, even with all the broken hearts... The show must go on.
And immediately after this scene, Satine delivers what is probably one of the best acting performances of her life...she has to convince Christian that she never truly loved him.
yup and thats what makes it hurt even more knowing inside her mind and heart are screaming "don't do this" but she knows the reality knows its the only way to protect Christian and the Moulin Rouge
@@alanashy3514 many years ago some friends performed this scene and the friend who played Satine and the director had a long talk based on what's known about her character she didn't want to break up with Christian and didn't want to hurt him like this but knew it was the only way to protect him and the only home she had (the moulin rouge) from a man as powerful and crazy as the Duke
This scene is so sad…I remember the first time I saw it I was just so heartbroken. It’s so sad and hopeless but powerful. You can feel Satine’s sadness and hopelessness. And the ending is so good with setting up what you know is gonna come. The fear, the unknown, the drama…it’s all summed up in the final notes
I LOVE Jim Broadbent's voice! My favorite piece is only a small part for him. It's when Ewan McGregor sings "Your song," and Jack comes in towards the end. I get goosebumps every time I listen to it. Lol He's got such a powerful voice! EDIT: I found out the voice that I love from "Your Song" belongs to none other than Placido Domingo. Unfortunately, the scene from the movie makes it impossible to know who sang that part. I'd assumed it was Jim Broadbent because of his role in the movie. However, I do love Jim Broadbent's voice as well. It's very powerful! Another commenter mentioned that Anthony Weigh did the singing for Jim Broadbent. However, Anthony Weigh's voice was only dubbed in for some of the higher notes that were out of Jim's vocal range. So, indeed, it is Jim's voice in this piece. Beautiful! 💐🤗
@@belenheredia2024 I thought Jacek was the soloist in this piece. I was wrong. It's Jim Broadbent. I changed my original comment to reflect this because it's Jim's voice I love!
@@iseley Not a problem. I asked because I wanted to see if there were videos of Anthony Weigh on RUclips to watch/listen to. I couldn't find anything, which is sad because, as I'd stated I'm my OC, I loved his voice (thinking it was Broadbent, of course).
Amo esa parte realmente es de una intensidad absoluta, es como si Harold Zidler le estuviera "hechando porras" a Satin con cada The show must go on, para que tome el valor de decirle a Christian que ya no quiere nada con él. Simplemente es una arte hecho canción.
Exactly she's mourning the death of all her true dreams of the life she could have lived with Christian if she wasn't who she was and in the world she was in
Wrong, Actual lyrics is Overkill, it refers to Fredy's shy nature .... when on stage he overkills with flamboyance end being over the top extrovert because off the stage he was actually introverted, shy , very private and very different person! I'll top the bill I'll overkill I have to find the will to carry on On with the show Show
ชอบมาก
Nach dem Elefant Song und vor Roxette der beste Song + Szene in dem Film...ach egal der ganze Film war einfach episch.😄👏
My daughter name is destiny xx

You know he hated himself for forcing her to do this but it was the only way to protect her and by extension the man she truly loved
Why is this not on the soundtrack!!! It’s so immense

Amor en rojo??? Moulin rouge significa molino rojo. Es un famoso cabaret de Paris.
Freddy is looking down watching this, smiling like “perfection”
Also “Wonderful Darling!”
"Do anything You Want with my music, only don't make it boring"
poderosa versión!!!!!!.....y poderoso mensaje!!!!!el show debe continuar....!!!

I know Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor did their own singing but is that also Jim Broadbent’s voice?
yes he did
Love her costume here. So beautiful/classy but also serious/in mourning

Show se traduce al español como espectáculo.
Pero show es un extrangerismo creo
