Frankly the transhumanists need to talk to Edward Dutton about the existential crisis caused by collapsing IQ. You can't build a technologically competent global civilization, like the imaginary ones in science fiction, when billions of people on this planet are probably too dumb even for jobs in stoop labor.

This is only complicated if you do not accept high beings and extra dimensional hierarchies. I you understand the necessity for intelligent design and study from that stand point the fact that particles behave (and I mean that literally) in any fashion, then it is quite easy to track and understand the why and how.

1:03:31 *robotic meat commodities* “What it feels like is that we’re moving towards a society where it’s valuable not to create AI, but just to get humans to act robotically. You know there’s a move towards human behavior becoming more mechanical-we’ve mistaken the machinic metaphor through which we understand human biology and the human brain for the _actual._ It’s what’s driving all of these narratives and what we’re ending up with is a human being that only feels normal if it is able to express itself in very binary ways.”

7:54 *Negativity behind language* “Psychoanalysis sort of acknowledges the fact that our own blind spot is very much subjectivity itself. We can’t really ever know ourselves, we can’t ever grasp all the knowledge that we have because we are our own void-you know we occupy a nothingness. And we have to sort of cast out into the world some sense of identity by virtue of language. So as soon as we’ve said, _’I am this person who is doing this…’_ we’ve already detached ourselves from the ‘I’ who speaks.”

This is STEP 1 to living forever, or at least hundreds of years. It is actually quite feasible in the next 50 years, especially with the help of AI in medicine, material science, engineering, etc. STEP 1) Control a robot with your mind, wirelessly. We can do this now. STEP 2) Advance mammalian isolated-brain perfusion methods and equipment to extract and preserve the human brain in vitro for many years after the body fails, or by choice. AI can help accelerate this development process. STEP 3) Solve mental aging issues with stem cell therapy or other means so the human brain can remain healthy and functional for centuries in vitro, potentially indefinitely, given the right perfusion cocktail. Again, AI can help speed this process up. Boom. Enjoy your avatar(s).

"The more we learn about what we are, the more options we will discern about what to try to become. Americans have long honored the “self-made man,” but now that we are actually learning enough to be able to remake ourselves into something new, many flinch. Many would apparently rather bumble around with their eyes closed, trusting in tradition, than look around to see what’s about to happen. Yes, it is unnerving; yes, it can be scary. After all, there are entirely new mistakes we are now empowered to make for the first time. But it’s the beginning of a great new adventure for our knowing species. And it’s much more exciting, as well as safer, if we open our eyes." - Daniel C. Dennett

I love Sean’s approach t this. He’s so no nonsense and factual. I’d love to have a philosophical discussion with him about what he thinks all this means. We are, it seems, inside a render-on-demand system (at a nuclear level) that seems to generate an infinite amount of possible histories for every particle in the universe. What does that? Why?

@ 29:00... the statement that "We've got incredibly big, incredibly rigorous trials showing that..... there's no point in popping vitamin pills." is disingenuous. He's talking about multivitamins and possibly synthetic vitamin E... but to make a blanket statement like that flies in the face of ALOT of evidence to the contrary... For example, NMN/NR are just forms of B3, and them and Nicotinic acid have all been shown to conclusively raise NAD+ levels in human trials, not to mention the effects on HDL and LDL levels. The problem with multivitamins comes from the assumption that all forms of a vitamin or mineral are equal.. they are not.. by a long shot, and furthermore, many things like vitamin C and copper for example, should never be administered in large doses together.... In my own research, in order to avoid antagonistic gut interactions that lock out nutrients or create toxic by-products and ROS, you need to separate all the components found in a typical multivitamin into AT LEAST three different groups, preferably four, and you have to space out the dosing of each group by a minimum of 2 hours, preferably longer. He is right that we are lacking evidence though, I have been unable to find any paper that has looked at the effect of increasing the doses of each component typically found in a multivitamin to actually clinically significant levels, in the correct ratios, while also ensuring that the optimal forms are taken, and ensuring that minerals and vitamins that are antagonistic to each other are not taken together. Since it doesn't yet exist, this is a project I have taken on, to develop a supplementation plan that addresses these points, and then hopefully I can have this trialed to see if we would see the benefits I would expect.

Sadly, the view taken by capitalists rarely goes beyond quarterly or at most annual profits. It is less than a short-term view, it is a micro-term view. And sadly, capitalists and the capitalists system run most of our world. Until capitalism is overthrown, I don't know that it matters how long-term of a view the rest of us take about the future.

And has anyone ever heard a man say "I'm a proud, white man!" That's only allowed if you're black. He would be called a racist! He said what about the people who don't have the status of human. People, every person, is a human. Do I really need to state this? This was the most ridiculous rubbish I have heard in a long time. The earth was made for man. That is why we prioritize man. We were gifted the earth to tend to it. P.S. "climate change" is a hoax. Climate has always changed. It is cooler now than it was in Jesus time. She even admits every age has had it's extinction cult. Yet here we are! We're still here! Why are you even talking about this? HA! You can't make this up. You wasted my time.

In postulating that all possible solutions of the quantum wave function manifest in a multiplicity of mutually inaccessible worlds, MWI doesn't just obliterate any meaningful interpretation of the probability density of each of those solutions. Since each potential combination of quantum outcomes is guaranteed to manifest in at least one of those worlds, there must exist worlds which just happen to violate Born's Rule, e.g. worlds in which Schrodinger's Cat is observed to die every time the experiment is run. While it's very unlikely an observer would find themself in such a highly exceptional world, the fact that MWI insists on the manifest reality of such aberrant worlds puts it in an "anything goes" category of quantum mechanics interpretations.

A whole lot of BS. That's where you end up when for decades you try to demolish the pillars of humanity through the Ages. We fight Nation, then Peoples, then Family, then Sex/Gender and now we hit rock bottom fighting Humanity and promoting self extinction instead of self improvement. A misanthropic occult ideology which tries to pave the way for the dystopian metanthropism that the elites want to impose. She is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Whereas she talks about anticapitalism, her ideas are exactly what the megacapitalists want to impose in the future. They want AI instead of humans because it's cheaper! And she covers all of that with a lot of fake ecological sensitivity and animal rights activism.

Nature is speaking the language she always has we just don’t know her language. We have tried Math and it leads us to Probability theory which is useable but imprecise.
