I would not recommend Tulemar Hotel in Manuel Antonio. They illegally privatize access to the beach. It is just unconstitutional, and I wouldn't recommend a place that goes against the law... They don't even have a path to let people visit the beach. I also asked the guard and the receptionist, and they did not give me my right as a Costa Rican citezen to access to the beach... It's just a place not to visit.

What are the hotel rates like .. $600 per night ? There has to be some Maldivian islands where ordinary people can have a good holiday ??!!!

Will be returning to London next year and staying at the Strand Palace; my third time. The video is interesting, seemingly incorporating features that were in situ in 2013 when I was last here, and refits. The hotel was being renovated 6 years ago and I understand there's been some work done both in the interim and recently. It'll be interesting to see what's what when I get back!

Отдыхала в этом отеле в прошлом году (16.06.18 -02.07.18 - вилла 222) в вилле на берегу... Посмотрела видео - либо там так за год всё изменилось, хотя о реновации отеля не сообщали ( я подписана на новости из отеля до сих пор), либо сплошной фотошоп! Отдыхом была очень довольна. Не спорю, остров красивый, рифа практически нет ( могла сравнить в этом году с рифом в Reethi Beach Resort, хотя стоит сказать, что как отель он проигрывает Meeru, в Meeru мне понравилось на порядок больше!). Но не стоит шампанским Moët откровенно вводить в заблуждение : ни его , ни фруктового набора не было ни у меня, ни у моих знакомых в двух других виллах рядом с водными виллами. И такой красочный интерьер - не более, чем картинка. Пишу это не для того, чтоб "избавиться от негатива", я об отеле и отдыхе написала в прошлом году очень хороший отзыв и пожалела, что в этом году забыла о поговорке "лучшее - враг хорошего"... Просто не хочется, чтоб у людей возникали ложные иллюзии и разочарования с синдромом не сбывшихся надежд. Потому как они из-за этого начинают оставлять не самые лестные отзывы об отеле, а он заслуживает только тёплых и хороших слов в свой адрес, но не приукрашенных дифирамбов...😉😘👍
