It’s interesting though I was curious how it would turn out. How they would be able to help. I expected to read that they brought food based on basic common amino acids until she could devise a natural paste but what was written was fine. And I was wondering what the cause of the famine, and I wondered if there were any other natural tribes on the planet. And I agree with the portrayal of the Zyrians as either peaceful or warriors was inconsistent. I’d have liked to know more about the Kthar. Were they female only like the Zyrians? Were they the same species or were they a different species that had evolved? However I’m not saying that it was a bad short story, but it could use some detail and polishing.

it's a good story but you can't seem to make up your mind whether the Xerian females were warriors or peaceful. the story started saying one thing then the picture you created was the opposite. you kept hoping back and forth throughout the story trying to have your cake & eat it too. You can't have it both ways. such double talk makes the story hard to listen to.
