Corporations are getting all the profit and service is being delivered poorly by playing tactics. Translink must do something asap
The 200th street mode share was really interesting, but also not surprising when you think about it. A single, moderately full bus can easily carry more people through an intersection than all the cars combined on that light cycle so to reduce congestion we should give those buses priority and get more people on them.
Starts at 4:29
theres gonna have to be a lot of public outreach and education over the busses taking over the roads. for some reason people dont understand that the more people that take transit, the less traffic they have to drive in.
Actual start time is at 1:39:14
How is the Mayor's Council and CEO of Translink going to react to the surmounting pile of human rights violations being filed against those responsible for implementing a mandate that forced people like myself to quit under duress aswell as others to disclose their medical information and undergo an experimental procedure that is now being found to not "prevent or stop the spread or reinfection," and choose not to disclose such information and be placed on LOAWOP, unlawfully. Each of you mayor's are up for re-election correct? The shortages and issues with canceled buses and service even including BC Ferries staffing issues is a result of the same problem. It's time to re evaluate your positions and truly hold your offices accordingly, accountable and hold some integrity and transparency to recall and rescind any future use of this irresponsible and unscientific policy creating these problems. Bring them back!!👏👏👏 we will remember
Thank you Tamara Vrooman for speaking in favour of the Gondola. It is a fantastic proposal and deserves to succeed.
9:00 zero emissions by 2025, echo warriors that are blind to the green technologies that in the backroom use tons of oil and minerals.

Your slide says you’ve reduced capacity on buses by 70%. This is false. A 40’ coach has a max capacity of 77 persons, with the closed seats it’s now 13 seats. That’s a reduction in capacity of 84%.
