Pete, Fun Squad! I can't stand the galley in the middle of the floor! I have to help people all the time figure out what do and it seems to an abundance of scooter people. But you know what ? the Venezia , my last Carnival cruise, was built in 2017 and still had the galley in the middle so again CONFUSION!! We're from Thomasville, NC. Hey maybe we'll win the next cruise🙂

Another little tip if you like beer you got a fridge in your room use it if they refuse to give it to you unopened the best thing and cheapest I found to seal them and put them in fridge is got to your local hardware store buy some corks they are cheap and you can get them on a plane cork your bottles throw them in fridge go back and get more simple

I was on this ship in June 2024. This was the first cruise that I actually did not like. I enjoy being at sea always, but this cruise was awful. The ship is old, small, out of date, and in a level of disrepair. We experienced sewage smalls in several locations. The food was mediocre. Now, the crowd this ship draws, because it does short sailings, also not for me. Too much weed smoking, playing this game where they stuff an insane number of people into the elevator 🛗 then scream when the doors open. People running through the halls all day and all night. I LOVE Carnival, but I will never sail the class of ship, and will never sail a short sailing ever again.

They shouldn’t let people sit AT the bar for over 2 hours. So selfish!

I went on the sunshine last week and it was the worst cruise I've ever been on. The staff was great other than the cruise director he was horrible. People are smoking weed all over the place. Security was everywhere but didn't do anything. People running up and down the Halls until 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning. I don't think clothes were an option for most of these guys even with kids it just blew my mind how nasty these people can dress. People all over the place getting really drunk which I understand it's a party ship but it was pretty bad. I will no longer be cruising with anything carnival again. This is not my first cruise I've been on five others with carnival.

I was on this cruise and this ship. It was NOT a huge wave ... it was a hurricane 80 MPH gust of wind. The ship listed 15 to 20 degrees and came NO WHERE near sinking. One person was seriously injured... only one person got off in Spain to the hospital. 200 people did get off in Spain, mostly European, who chose to fly home from Spain rather than the more expensive options of changing their flights in Miami.

After being on Icon, my favorite new bar is Rye & Bean. I know these ships won't get revamped anytime soon, but the Bionic bars should be replaced on Oasis class ships. Never used that much, waiste of space and be perfect place for Rye & Bean. Anything but Bionic bar

I was on explorer of the seas through super storm sandy good times! Its a ship at sea stuff happens!

Disney Fantasy during Hurricane Sandy. Encountered 45+ swells and we did not get into port until 12 pm (scheduled for 6 am). Went on the same ship a year later and our concierge host told us that the hull of the ship was actually damage during that trip and they were about to go into an extended dry-dock to repair the hull!
