First of all one should be a good observer to understand behaviours and personalities, then one should have knowledge and experience. You get knowledge by studying research papers. Also, you can focus on chapters related to personalities and behaviour. You can watch my videos also for these chapters😊 Always, try to get knowledge from verified sources such as text books and research papers (especially APA papers) as they are based on conclusions derived empirically from large data. Sorry, I haven't read that book. But, I can add something here...Actively thinking is more of a conscious process. However, thoughts, memories etc. are present in the subconscious mind which runs in autopilot mode. Resolving them can certainly improve quality of life.
