I can only imagine that you laugh about it to yourself when you do take them. It's easy to imagine Grant teasing you as you are laughing too. You prove to me that it's better to have had love than never having love at all.. which is my current status as a 39 year old male. Still, you give me hope.

I think its a great idea. I just wonder what happens if the family moves or what happens when you pass. Will you ever marry again or are you done. I would be upset too since it was a dangerous sport he just had to do.

I think it’s a wonderful way to remain close. We can’t see the wind, but we know it’s there by watching the leaves float through the air, or the dandelion floating on the breeze. I hope you never feel pressured to explain your whys. Healing is different for everyone. I really appreciate all of the knowledge Grant and now you, share with us. May you and your family find tranquility and comfort. We sure miss Grant in mine. :)

One of my favorite quotes is, "This too shall pass." Neither the negative nor the positive moments in life last indefinitely. When things are bad, they won't always be that way, and when things are good, they will also not always be that way. The key is to let the bad fall away, grieve, and be done, then enjoy everything good, no matter how small, to its fullest.

Good news is if she faults on her mortgage, etc no one can do anything about it & now she owns always the gov cant take the house... Atleast thats how i understood the laws.... EVERYONE SHOULD DO THIS. WISH I knew that a few years ago when my husband died i got behind on payments. I dumped his ashes on our property. But thats not enough. If i had buried him on the property nothing no one couldve done.....😢😢😢😢 Edit for this plz spread the message so we can get these dumbass banks & government to stop taking our things from us & then you can visit anytime....Keep them close as possible.. You cant do it if you rent so plz dont try, itll just be awful when they have to be moved.

South Carilina is loaded with family plots. The families are long gone but the cemeteries are still there. A sub division was built over one because it had been 75 years since the last burial and no one was around to object. Another is in the middle of an on ramp for an interstate. I almost bought property that had 9 bodies buried. It had been forgotten because a road was moved and access became difficult. Trees were growing up through the caskets, some graves were sunken, one was to a point were a hole allowed you to see down into the casket. You could see bones and clothing. One good reason for burying in a Cemetary is the perpetual care of the grave. Especially if a municipality cares for them. Your free to chose what makes you feel best but l am sure your loved one will be moved at some point in the future. Could be to the city dump if they do it without anyone knowing. I am sorry for your loss.

The problem now is you kind of can’t sell your house. You can never go back to visit him at his gravesite once you do and it’s a hard sell to tell a homebuyer oh btw my dead husbands buried there so please never build anything back there…. Also now there’s a good chance if you don’t have a huge yard, he’s buried next to a septic tank

The most important thing that should be taught to young men or boys going through these changes is that the urge to rush things is like an illusion and it's only temporary. That urge can feel like a need and it can almost feel like it's necessary for survival, especially for a young man who is not familiar with it. They should be reminded that they never want to hurt a woman, not even emotionally, the only exception being to turn them down. Things can be shared in stages too, such as the body moving can be addressed, but it doesn't have to be fully explained. The main thing though is the overwhelming urge that can hijack your senses, nobody prepares boys for that. You'll also find, if you were to look, that many young perpetrators of the terrible act, don't even believe that was what they did, they don't even believe they are capable of that. I turned it dark, I just wholly believe these things should be prevented rather than reconciled after the fact, or not at all.

This is the kind of "single mother", who deserves every man's respect & honor. She loved her husband, through of him enough to find the perfect gift, and is still thinking of him, even now. When a women does things right, cares about her family, but still finds herself in a situation out of her control & suddenly single? THIS is the kind of woman who, "Deserves"- That man may have died younger than most? But that man WON the race. Most men, GOOD men, would be OK knowing their time was about to end- if this was who was waiting for him. I'm so sorry for your loss. Never change. The world needs more like you.

I watched him with my father throughout my whole childhood. We always planned on doing the things together that Grant would in his videos. I remember one Saturday morning we’d watched Grant’s tutorial on how to make a metal foundry. We drove to a hardware store nearby and got all of what we needed for the project. We planned on building the foundry and making all sorts of cool stuff with it, but the supplies unfortunately sat in his shed and have been since lost with time. My dad left us a couple of years before Grant’s passing. I would sit up late at night watching Grant’s videos as a young teen. I didn’t have the resources to do what we was, but I had split seconds where I’d forget about the fact that I was watching a video and it would feel like I was spending time with a father who cared. I’d always wished that I could’ve had Grant as a father. I truly mourned his passing, because there was a little part of me that viewed him as a father figure. I don’t mean to trauma dump on you, as I cannot imagine what you’ve been through since he’s been gone. I just thought it might help you to know that Grant touched my heart more than I ever thought a RUclipsr could. I still think about him all of the time and the example he set for me. He was an amazing person and touched the lives of millions.

I'm not sure what usef means, but thanks for your comment. It sounds like you don't know much about yourself or women. I wish you well and hope that you can discover that life is made up of more than men looking at women thinking that is what makes women valuable. It is very lonely when the love of your life dies. That's the whole point of sharing and it's ok to be lonely.
