Exceptionnal passage of IC train Brussels to Luxembourg on track 1 in Kleinbettingen
Due to a malfunction of a track switch just at the Belgian border, an IC train from Brussels to Luxembourg was stuck between Arlon and Kleinbettingen. The next train was cancelled, and this following train used the opposite track towards Luxembourg. At platform 2 is the local train to Luxembourg, normally due to leave from platform 3.

Since track 2 is closed, the regional train to Arlon has to leave from track 7, which gives us a nice view of the 4000 series next to the 3000 series of the Luxembourg railway company.

Due to construction works, the regional trains from the Kleinbettingen line are received on track 7 instead of track 2. As the IC trains to Brussels do not run for 2 weeks, the regional trains to Arlon have been reinforced. Therefore this regional train is composed of the Belgian I11 coaches, normally running the IC service between Luxembourg and Brussels. It's nice to have a high-quality train...

After departure of the regional train to Athus from track 3, we can see IC train to Brussels, leaving exceptionnally from track 4 instead of track 1. The designated track 1 was still used by the delayed regional train to Arlon when the IC from Brussels arrived a few minutes before.

Departure just on time, despite the heavy rain pouring down. Upon departure the train looses a waterfall of water from the roof.

At this moment (17.17) there were simultanously 6 engines of this ancient series in the station. The 2 arriving plus on track 7 there are 2 double trains of this series; one for Diekirch and one for Dudelange and Volmerange (FR).

Great catch. It's such a weird train having the centre coach be a single decker and the outer coaches double. Still, looks to be a nice looking and sounding train. Let's hope the interior is decent as well!
I've seen pictures of the interior, it looks sleek and certainely decent. The seats look very comfortable tbh.

Ja leider sind die NMBS Züge häufig voller Grafitti. Die Bahn bekommt das Problem nicht in den Griff.
@@trainsweb die nmbs soll lieber stahlzäune machen wie bei uns Air force dann sind die züge wo die abstellt werden besser geschütz

Die 2200er Triebwagen sind in einem sehr schlechten Zustand was den Lack angeht. Darum werden ja jetzt auch die ersten 10 Triebwagen renoviert.

Merci. Normalerweis fueren HLE18 vu Méindes bis Freides den IC um 10.11 an um 18.11 Auer vu Lëtzebuerg op Bréissel (dat ass déi selwecht Rame). Dementspriechend kommen sie um 9.48 an 17.48 mam IC vu Bréissel zu Lëtzebuerg un. Ech hun deen hei um 10.20 Auer zu Capellen op der Aire de Capellen gefilmt, wéi en ennerwee op Bréissel war. Leider fällt deen Zuch och oft aus um Trajet Arel - Lux (wéi z.b. gëschter 14.8.).

Firstly, this is VL11 (VL10 VL11 and VL80 are lookalikes) Secondly, all these locomotives have a whistle, like we hear in the video, but also a proper loud train horn. They are used in different situations accordingly.

hmm i never seen this type of materials using that line before because i know that CFL use that material mainly on those lines 10,10a,10b,30,60,60a,60b,60c and 70 but never seen on the 50 who going to kleinbettingen
