Just purchased an 06' with only 42k miles. Paid $15,000 but plan to keep it for 10 years or more. I'll spend another $500 to update the radio to an android auto unit and add a backup camera. It almost looks brand new.

I got one a lot like it with 209k I’m expecting to get 400k out of it.

I just bought an 2003 Toyota Sequoia Limited for $3,995 with 197,000 miles. All it needed was a battery, jump starts, couple of lights on the dash but no check engine light. The rear trunk has a collision because it was in a car accident on the driver side at the rear. I went to LQK junk yard and found a 2001 Toyota Sequoia SR5 got it for $160, planned on installing it soon.

4 wheel was an option on the both trim level, the SR5 and Limited.

I would just leave it like this my Dad has replaced ecm ($1600) and the same shat happend agian will just run a jumper wire and a second switch and be done with it .....

It's a Diesel, Hydra Boost behind Master Cylinder and @ 1:11 of video Gas Gauge says Diesel Fuel only, OZ- D Engine Designation ,Made by Oldsmobile . Sticker would be on Drivers side where Cowl Tag Listing all options on the car near top of Firewall . My 1980 Olds 98's Diesel was swapped out for a 73-74 350 Gas Crate Engine in 1981. My Olds 98 still looks and drives like it did 44 years ago, It took me Half an hour to change the starter and noticed my Exh. manifold bolts were loose so now it runs very quietly.

That diesel engine was a disaster. Too bad it did not have a 318 or 350

It was a diesel that's why the gauge says "DIESEL FUEL ONLY"

Reservoir tank has a filter in it that also gets clogged easily .. if you get whinig and steerig gets stiffer and the fluid in the tank is bubbling and foaming before replacing pump spend 15 bucks on new reservoir flush system then fill and burb it

Those diesel 5.7 litre Oldsmobile based 350 converted to gas Oldsmobile V8 gas heads intake manifold carb, distributor, cam kit and they are a strong running fairly quick drivetrain, and the dx is beefier in bottom end of the motor compared to the Oldsmobile 260-307 and some of the 350 motors were.

34k on an odometer that keeps going around when it hits 99,999. It likely has 134k. Maybe 234k.

that car is super solid, i hope someone saves it. it wouldn't really take much to bring it back, the engine was a turkey in those days anyways. swap in something better

Nice to know that this beauty has been saved. I like your enthusiasm too. I saw a very similar accelerator pedal in the film Used Cars (1980); it was implied that it was in a 1966 Ford Fairlane 500 but the rather unique trim had me wondering what it actually belonged to.
