Dreams always sounds fast to me as I grew up listening to it on GM car 8-tracks which were notoriously slow and warbly. They never broke, so that was cool I guess. iTunes let me slow it down a fraction of a beat and now it sounds glorious and is one of my most listened-to tracks. There's no range, dynamic or otherwise in your version. Is this a trailer for some B-movie? This is a song to be sung, not shouted like a cheer at some ball game. You just don't get it AT ALL! This is pretentious and obnoxious, it's like turning something beautiful into bad porn. 14yo girls going through a pagan lesbian phase will probably eat this shit up, but that's a pretty narrow niche.

If you need autotune you need to lay off Stevie Nicks. This is a cute pagany video, like a low-budget version of those Nordic folks that do this shit up right. If you listen to the real song next to the ghettoed up, over-produced drivel you created doesn't it just make you cringe? I can hear and feel Stevie's pain in this song, you just make over-dramatic expressions trying to transform something beautiful into pop glitter nonsense. Any clip from this video would make an awesome poster for some 13yo edgelord's wall. I have an awesome '70s vintage stereo system and with the Magnepan's it sounds almost like being there - The rasp in her voice, the inhaling and exhaling so perfectly controlled and captured by the ubiquitous Shure SM57's. Mick to the right, Lindsay to the left, Christine doing the backup vocals behind and to the left, drums dead center behind Stevie... I listened to this on the studio monitors I have on my desk which are brutally revealing, there's just so much missing. Sing with no instruments or production and listen to yourself, think "is this a thing I can do?". My wife sang with perfect pitch, she could bring tears to your eyes with one note. Too bad she's dead now.
