Hi, it took us about 1 hour in a taxi to get there from our hotel, so depending on where you're staying, this is an add on. There's 272 steps so with dodging fellow tourists, monkeys and fighting for my life 😂 it took us 30 minutes to climb up and again 30 minutes to climb down. I spent another 30 minutes looking around the cave. We did not explore the Ramayan cave, so that's more time if you're planning on it. We also spent some time after finishing up with the cave, drinking coconut water from a stand nearby. Excluding travel time, I spent about 2 hours at the Batu caves, which I thought was enough. Hope this helps! ☺️

@@nancymayaguilar447 Ooh I'm excited for your stay there, that hotel is amazing! I couldn't remember how much I paid but I checked the ride fare on a website and it says it's approximately 19RM. But grab prices are pretty dynamic, depending on time of day and how busy it is. Also to clarify above answer- from hotel to Batu caves its about 30 mins ride on taxi but we went mid morning and there was a lot of traffic so took about one hour- be mindful of Malaysian traffic and rush hour 💛

Grab is super cheap and probs the easiest to navigate, public transport in a new setting is stressful :( only thing I'd say is ensure you can access your mobile banking/paypal as it asked me to verify my account every time I used Grab. @@zarebear we also loved Golden Mile Food Centre - you can get Sup Tulang there which is an awesome experience! Maxwell Centre is also a good one. We also went to Ghim Moh Gardens for fresh dosa and curry - sooo good!

With the help of google translate, I believe you're asking if you may visit Merlion and Gardens by the Bay between 7-11am? You absolutely can, they are both open during that time and both can be done within this time frame as they are close to each other. Hope that helps and enjoy your trip xx

Omg it's a mission and a half getting hold of those colouring books! 😫 I got this one off amazon, its called "Clawbrook cove adventures around town" deffo recommend, the paper is thick enough for the ohuhu markers- just make sure to use a paper between the pages!
