I'm looking to set up my 1st leccy & of course mulling over the Xi5 & the Minn Kota Power drive. Could you offer any advice on your experience with the Motorguide please?

When i was a kid, my brother & I used to catch over meter long Flathead on hand lines every weekend for years on the gold coast. Its so rare to see big ones now days i think the habitat has changed too much to support the giant females.

Wish I could get that many bulls in the Mary …be lucky if I got one a month o_o some people seem to draw them and others barely see em …also I got a question …how do you tell a good spot to cast net for livies in a river (I’m fairly new to fishing and atm land based until I get funds sorted ) I’d probably be looking for herring maybe mullet If I could find it (currently In Maryborough) ..bull shark are tasty fish though so so soft ..they pack a decent fight to …thank you any advice I receive 🙏 also good video I’ll be looking at more subbed

😱bloody hell ....... Bullies ........Goodness me. Swimming and fishing in those waters 45 years ago.... we always believed, it was it stingys or big jewys, that snapped the line as we couldnt turn the runaway "buggers" or hold them, but other boat fishers always rumoured they were bullies. After seeing this and the size of those little fellows, our water ways must be loaded with these little fellows from breeding bullies.🤔🙄

I catch flatties around port all the time on vibes around the eddies of markers. Run of the mill is 50-65cm so that one was a stonker. Every time i hook a fish there, for the first few seconds im thinking-is this a thready?

It’s an awesome spot there hey, I had a half day sesh from about 1 until dark there around the same time you were there, I ended up with 11 cod and 18 yellas for the avo, I should have camped but wasn’t prepared, I’m going back over Xmas for a proper go at it.
