It of course depends on the context. For example, don't use "bouffer" (instead of manger) or un "mec" at work, except with some direct colleagues whom you know well. It's also very generational. "Une meuf" (a woman) is for example more and more used, but to older generations - like mine - it will sound quite low class or immature. "C'est chouette", on the other hand, has fallen out of fashion. If you want to sound more in tune with the times, you may prefer "c'est (trop) cool" which fits any situation and across generations. But there are many more expressions.

Didn't include "le frigo" for fridge? The countdown sound is a bit abrasive. Final tone isn't necessary. Saying the word then using it in a sentence would be great!
@@EastWindCommunity1973 Frigo is short for réfrigérateur. It's a colloquial term, but the meaning is the same.☺️ Thanks for your comment about the countdown sound🙏🏽, I wanted to make it more like a quiz.but in my next video I won’t 😍
In Spanish, Portuguese or Italian, there are some slang words or phrases expressions but what people speak on the street is the the same language that you see in the newspaper. Not so in French, where spoken informal French is a completely different animal than what you see in the newspaper.

Hi, Saji. Why not _merci _*_beaucoup_* ?
hi there😇 The expressions "merci bien" and "merci beaucoup" in French are both ways to say "thank you very much." However, there is a subtle difference in emphasis: "Merci bien" is a more formal and polite expression of gratitude. It is often used in professional or formal settings. "Merci beaucoup" is a more informal and enthusiastic way to say thank you. It is commonly used in everyday conversations with friends and family.
@@sajifrenchlearning Alors, merci bien! I'm not sure it's worth an entire video, but if you would cover the difference between _alors_ and _donc_ , je vous en serais très receonnaissant.

J'ai mangée? Isn't it incorrect? It should be "J'ai mangé" both in masculine & feminine cases.
