For any number of reasons, farmers can find themselves in need of help with the harvest or other chores. It's not uncommon for neighbors to lend a hand with equipment or manpower. Here, a neighboring farm lends a hand with a wheat crop harvest using their John Deere S670 combine, JD 7280R tractor and Unverferth 8250 grain cart.

    So... I called my septic tank people to have them come out and check the tank because it smelled! I had recently purchased a house in the country. I told her my thoughts and how it smelled every time I went outside. She paused for a moment and said slowly... I think you are smelling the spray on the fields. I said...what kind of spray? She said they spray the fields in the spring and fall with cow manure. I suddenly realized. OMG! I'm a city boy in the country! I laughed and hung up. Told the wife. Why not share it.

    All those tubes going to your tractor tires and trailer tires do they just tell you the pressure or can you control the pressure from your cab?

      They are the AgriBrink tire pressure control system. The tires are pumped up for the highway and lowered while entering a field to distribute the weight over a wider tire surface area thus reducing soil compaction. All controlled from the cab ..

    Have you not considered building membrane digesters to ferment this manure and produce biogas? The biogas can be used for cooking, heating, etc., and it also reduces the odor of the manure.

      the 225 cultivator requires 240-600HP to pull it depending in depth. This cultivator was operating at a depth of 4" so 400HP was sufficient ...

      Soweit ich online sehen kann, handelt es sich bei Bauer Irrigation um ein Wasserbewässerungssystem. In diesem Video geht es um Mist aus einem Milchviehbetrieb. Das Abwasser aus dieser Lagune würde das Bauer-System in 2 Sekunden verstopfen!

    Flat corn crops like this used to be fairly common in the UK, not so much now, I think they grow wheat with a shorter stalk, in rough windy & wet, it hold up better, but still we do get some flat. Not many combines are fitted with draper type headers, they usually have lifters fitted when needed.

      Merci. Content que ça te plaise. Le fumier n'est pas mélangé à l'eau. Les vaches laitières ont des selles très molles de type diarrhée... pas un type ferme que l'on trouve dans un champ fou. Avec des centaines de milliers de litres d'urine, le fumier est très liquide. Il est pompé dans le grand réservoir de rétention du lagon toutes les deux semaines à partir de réservoirs de rétention plus petits situés sous la grange. 2 à 3 fois par an, la lagune est pompée et épandue sur les champs...

    Not sure why the loaded trucks/trailers do not reverse up the crop, that way the pushers are not pushing small stone, dirt up?
