Autumn colours on the path from St Fillans to Glentarken. Red squirrel at 17.25. Location on 1897 - 1907 map. maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/print/#zoom=14.2&lat=56.39432&lon=-4.14762&layers=156&b=3 I didn't go as far as intended to Glentarken because part of the path was extremely boggy, and I turned back. Railway closed in 1951. Video taken on 7th November 2023.

After two days of amber warnings for heavy rain from the Met Office, the Turret Burn has flooded Lady Marys Walk, where it joins the River Earn. The Glenturret Distillery uses water from the Turret Burn to make whisky. Its about 1km upstream from Macrosty Park. theglenturret.com/ Filmed on October 8th 2023

The road is not gritted in winter and has gates at either end which can be shut in extreme weather. It's 1771 feet above sea level at its highest point, making it one of the highest public roads in Scotland.
