I would like to invite you to test our drawer divider organizers, I have sent an email to the email address you provided and look forward to hearing from you.

Are used to do all of this, and somehow I got out of control, behind on editing my closet. I found shopping online extremely hard when I’m in the store I can try and work the outfit, or not buy it. You have very clear direction which hopefully will help me get back on track. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing this. I find that I stay away from sales. Sales are full of items that are either out of the average sizes, and full of items that the shop could not get rid of!!. Have bought before and the item remains in the closet with the sale tag on it, never being worn. So I stopped going to any sales. It is not a bargain unless you love it and it fits.
I am retired. I don't do anything. So what do I need? 😂 I could be a nudist, I guess.
I have always saved my best clothes for another time and then never wore them... it makes sense to wear your best now... ty!!!
Another adorable sleeping kitty!
I’m curious what your upside down triangle logo represents. Watching this video felt like you were inside my head. I’ve literally thought, said and done pretty much everything you mentioned all the way down to buying tons of clothes on line, missing my return window and now being stuck with SOOOO many clothes that are just ok that I never wear. I’ve also even already made the list of my favorites. And yes, I keep “saving” my favorites, too, haha! The reason I do, though, is because it usually takes so long to find those kinds of pieces that work perfectly, fit amazingly and are favorites, that I don’t want them to wear out and then be stuck again having to take all that time to try and find replacements for them. Help me with that. Please! Also, even though I’ve made the list of my favorites, there always seems to be pieces in my closet that I still love (even though I don’t wear often) that don’t make the cut and are very difficult for me to part with. I feel like I need an entire separate closet for those. Maybe I should store those in another closet for when my “true favorites” I keep saving, finally wear out, then I can just shop that other closet rather than a store😜 …too many clothes…really…feel like I’m drowning😝
I’m definitely missing the basics
Miss you & your videos, hope your back soon ❤️
Nice 👍🙂
Wonderful content! As an organizer also, it is so fulfilling to hear the psychology and coaching you provided in this video! The why, the how, the how to move forward, and forgive!!! Please continue sharing...we all benefit with these words.
Where did you buy those ?
I got these accessories at a Colorado Springs Costco, but I’ve seen them on Amazon, too.
What was the price on Costco and could you share link to Amazon please
@@7akshara 1000 above.. Price 🤦
Was looking for shop my closet videos and stumbled on to your channel… loved all the looks!
Bird Feeder in the pantry. I hope this has never been used. To me, a bird feeder could harbor bird flu. Its got to stay outside or in a storage shed.
Thank you, Victoria! Great reminder! Our area hasn’t reported bird flu issues, but there is always a concern with salmonella and bacteria. We are recommended to clean the feeders every few days and sanitize (with a bleach solution) every two weeks. I follow these instructions religiously, but your comment does make me think. I will look for other storage solutions if possible! Thank you!
Great styling inspiration! Thanks!
Thank you, @Eli Sabé!
Love the white tshirt at minute 10. Wish I could find something like that.

beautiful - loved this video xxx
Thank you @Lucy Allan!
Apologies Just frustrated at the saMe same
Ive heard this all befire from the get go Nothing new
I love the long camel cardigan (not the duster), but I’m not seeing a link to it.
It’s from Nanette Lepore, but it’s from several years ago, and is unfortunately not available any more. I saw one on Poshmark not long ago, but I’m not sure it’s still there. It was at a fantastic price (I think it was $50!), but only in an XS size (which is the size I have, too). For reference, I’m 5’4”, 120 lbs, curvy build, 34-24-36.
Great video! Loving the amazing view from your window.
The trees are incredibly peaceful!
I liked all your looks! And the nature backdrop. So different to other styling videos. Looking forward to your next video 🙂
Thank you, Liz P.! These types of videos are very fun to make, too!
Hi, I love to watch shop my closet videos! I agree that shopping your closet is very important and helpful to identify the gaps in your wardrobe before you go out shopping. Also accessories are key and add so much interest to your outfit.
Thanks @Rob Robben! And great advice! I’ll bring in more accessories for future try on videos!
Your presentation and voice are really smooth. I enjoy your sensible approach which makes perfect sense. Well done. Can't wait to weed out my wardrobe. Love it.
Thank you, Janice Lourens! I really appreciate this!
I think that forgiving myself for making a mistake and actually to let go of it, really resonated with me. I bought an expensive wool cardigan in black in Italy and a very nice skirt, but for some reason I do not look good in it, it does not serves me to look my best. Feeling best and to radiate our energy is a #1 goal.
Well said! Sometimes the items we purchase have more meaning as a memory of an experience (like traveling to Italy!) than as a wardrobe staple. And if you let it go, you'll still have the memory of the great trip - instead of the reminder of feeling guilty that you haven't worn it. And I would imagine that it would be such a wonderful piece for someone else to enjoy, too!
After working from home, my style has definitely changed to include more athleisure pieces. That being said, my style in general has also changed. This video is amazing and the focus of keeping "favorite" things is exactly what I have been thinking. The amount we spent on certain items that are not being worn is tough to reconcile with, but I really try to get rid of items and take them to a family shelter. The idea that people in need will be using them makes it easier to let go of them. Thank you! I really enjoyed your video. Look forward to more of your content.🙂
Thank you, @M San! I completely agree with you that knowing others will enjoy your clothes makes donating items much easier! Very well said!
I love dressing nice, perhaps smart casual, even if just to run errands. As a stay at home mom I have no real need to dress professionally but I love the look. Years back I took my youngest to daycare twice a week for “me” time. After a few months I struck up conversation with another mom who asked where I worked. I said I was a stay at home mom and she was shocked. She thought I was on my way to work since I was always put together. I took it as a great compliment. I don’t save my clothes or jewelry for special occasions because tomorrow is never promised, I’m just living for today. :)
So true!!
The people that you are talking about have huge closets the size of my bedroom. I have a very small closet
I think a smaller closet can be such a benefit! You have to more selective on your choices since there's just not enough room for unworn extras.
That was an awesome video! Very helpful. I would love to see some of your outfits.
Thank you! I love your comment - and I just posted a video showing some ideas for outfits from my wardrobe for late summer transitioning into early fall!
I love the approach that you show!!! My favorite videos.
Thank you so much!
Marie Kondo for sure, that was the first thing I thought of when you opened your clothes draw! Well Done!
I think her way of vertically filing clothes is brilliant! I’ve packed clothes in suitcases that way (or rolled them) for decades, but only started storing clothes in drawers this way several years ago after Marie Kondo started to become well known. She’s certainly very inspiring!
I really appreciate your calm genuine style of delivering information.
@Homeschooling Sisters - why, thank you!! I appreciate the compliment!
I love the shopping tip! That makes sooo much sense!!! Also' donating and selling the BIG MISTAKES at Postmark or Mercari...and use it for the pieces you need. FYI~GREEN DROP ( 4 charities such as The Purple Heart, American Cancer Society and others) will come and pick up your clothes! THEY ARE IN DESPARATE NEED OF CLOTHES right now! Here are 2 things I always told my kids when we went shopping: 1/ You have to LOVE IT! Everything has to Fade away! NOT SURE?? * LEAVE IT, if you have to go back a few days later to get it' you probably will wear it to DEATH! 2/ SOMETIMES...ITs NOT your piece. It is meant for someone else. If it's a good price, or cute' or not on the list....see * above! I 👍
I def have that issue of "saving" my best stuff to the point that I have to wear my ugliest stuff first and wear it out before moving to the better pieces. It's a problem... been that way since childhood. Then a few years later the good items are not in style anymore! And you are right - the nice stuff just won't get worn if the other boring sucky pieces co-exist in the closet next to them. I enjoy the reminders to wear my best stuff daily. THanks!
Thanks, @mgyvel!
This is brilliant advice. I’m excited to try this approach.
Thank you! Good luck and have fun with the editing!
I love your calm voice, so easy to understand.
Oh thank you!
Good video, as a stylist I can say that what you mentioned here is the right way to go, it's a very simplified version of how to start going through your closet. I liked that you concentrated on keeping the pieces which makes you happy and wear what you love, because this is the exact thing I tell my clients to do, it's very important for a lot of reasons 🌞. One thing though, the laundry basket will not work, a couple of key points were mentioned by you, but there's more to it, especially for people who want to change their wardrobe or style. 🌸
Love this and so helpful! I have been putting off this project for such a long time but this has given me a path to tackle it! Just want to comment about when some thing is a favorite but it’s not in great shape or it needs to be tossed BUT you still love it… I write down the item, brand, style, color on a Post-it note and stick it on my computer screen. Then from time to time if I’m looking around on websites like Poshmark or eBay, I will put the specifics in the search area and have occasionally scored my favorite item to replace the one that I had to get rid of!
Such great advice! I’ll use that tip, too!
Keeping your home clean and tidy is an extension of your personal hygiene - essential!
Love this! A clean home is a healthy home!
Sounds like some of the "Fly Lady" techniques. The shiny sink is her biggest thing.
I'm not familiar with the Fly Lady method, but I'll check it out! But I personally think a made bed and an empty sink go a long way in keeping a home clean!
@@BestOrganizedLife check out Diane in Denmark. She is so fun and had adapted the flylady organizational methods. Another one is Steph on the Secret Slob. She has more of a style for busy moms, but some of the things you mentioned like a wash a day, they call LOL(load of laundry), then there is Pupa(pick up, put away) lots of tips and tricks and then specific larger tasks that rotate through rooms. I have found take aways from them and inspiration. As a new subscriber, I really enjoy your aesthetic, messaging and calming demeanor. ✨️
Thank you, C Mac!
Great video 👍🏼
Thank you!
Good advice! Why do we ‘keep’ the really nice things in our wardrobe? What occasion are we waiting for? Why wear the mundane things daily that don’t make us feel good? I am sorting my wardrobe now. This is the first time that I found your site - and it won’t be the last.
Thank you, Madeleine! I really appreciate your comment!
Greatv video! Super simple steps to follow. I love your tips to wear well-maintained, high-quality clothing and how to shop with a plan.
Thank you!
You need to do the washing more often if you have that much in your basket ! :D Seriously great video !
Thank you!
_Omgosh! I just found your channel! Love your personality as well as your choice of topics. I love all your replicas . You got me hooked . And I will be saving this to my favorites for reference @ _*_gurep.com_*_ for some new cute bags_
Their ‘secret’ is a stylist. Have you seen how they are dressed when not on show?
In a way, that is every well dressed person's secret! A stylist is discerning and very specific - if the pieces aren't perfect, the client doesn't wear them. I think we can all learn to be our own stylists and only wear what we really love and feel our best in. Just get rid of the things that don't meet that criteria, so that your choices are ALL ones that provide you confidence and joy.
Lol I just did this process I had a blouse that I had bought for a 70’s birthday theme and I held on to it for 15 years hoping I could wear it as routine wardrobe but I never dared to do it because it had a low cleavage and never found something to put under it.I had several items with this dilema or the fact that I had only worn the items once or twice or they still had a price tag but I realized that if I hadn’t worn it was because it didn’t go with my figure or reality ,it was an impulse buy and never got the time to return it. I finally let go and donated around 40 items to the women’s shelter and that, my friend, felt really good 😁guilt free and ready to wear everything in my closet and whatever doesn’t feel comfortable I’ll let it go ASAP I’m not holding it for years when someone else can be enjoying it now
I love this!
