The founder of Shotokan Karate of America, Mr. Ohshima, considered Mr. Egami to be a Karate genius. It was nice to see them practice on grass. When I see the Shoto-Kai practice on hardwood, they do a lot of sliding which I don’t understand, but would like to hear an explanation. I have a book by Mr. Egami and he has an interesting opinion of making a fist.
