With the boy scouts, we used to cook outside with the iron pots hanging on a chain, above the fire connected to a tripod made of three strong wooden poles made of small trees solidly strung together with cords. Great times. Every time I see African traditional cooking it reminds me of the boy scouts camp. And it feels a bit like coming home. 😊 The boy scouts where founded by a British soldier Baden Powell in South Africa and I found out he passed his last years and died in Nyeri, Kenia. His grave is in sight of mount Kenya. My mother as a kid was with the girl scouts and she met his wife in person here in Europe.

You dont cook cucumbers, you can use them to make a salad with tomatoe and avocado. I put a little salt and black pepper on mine, or we use salad dressings.

BC, you can wash the fish with the lemon juice and you also can squeeze some of the juice on the fish when it’s done cooking 🎉🎉

Cucumbers are good with a little salt on top, taste good.

BC you can get a piece of stele two pieces of stele and put them on your fire place

Good morning Baby Caro, yes you use when fish is ready. Squeeze a little over fish to your taste. We also use when washing the fish, to get rid of that fish smell. Cant wait to see the finishing touch of your delicious cooking. It always look so delicious. You cook with love Babe Caro.❤🙏

You're supposed to rub the fish with the lemon juice ,wash it off ,then squeeze a little on the washed fish then season it.😊
