hello same i had to search alot of vids i think mine is a stress fracture i work out but im also a mail man i walk about 9 miles a day and it started hurting a couple days ago this past Saturday it hurts if i stand and bend forward over my feet on my right leg and right side of leg in the muscles but not when i put preasure on bone. it did not hurt till 12:30 pm after about 3 and half hours of walk9ing hurt bad and on myk way home from work it hurt so bad driving 45 mins home but then i went to walmart and got out of care and started walking it felt a little better. so today it hurts a little now tommow is leg day im taking it off becuase i tried to do a stiff leg deadleft just hinging at hip and crazy pain i felt in right leg i would love to talk to you guys thank you
What are the possibilities of it being shin splints? I mean, when I take off while jumping, It hurts, or say it's kinda burning sensation while taking off for jumping, but when I land, it doesn't hurt at all. I hope and pray that It is not a stress fracture, I'd be so so so pissed if it is a stress fracture. The burning sensation is there, and the area is more than 10 cm, I literally measured with a scale, lol. I'm so scared right now. It's been a week, I have not run properly, and I only ran 2 easy runs this week, that's all. I'm losing a lot of gains. I just recently hit my 5k PB and was a minute closer to my goal time. SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT
I was at 50-60 miles per week when I strained my soleus about 2 weeks ago. When I return to running with the walk/run intervals, do I need to start building mileage again from 0 back to 50 miles per week over the course of several months? Start over essentially?

I can see why it's not your favorite exercise. You are clueless as to what it does. It develops the posterior chain ( lower back, glutes, hamstrings).

I sprained my LCL 36hrs ago. Brief ice and DH made me take advil but I didn’t want it. Treated with loads of vitamin C & turmeric, chamomile tea, and castor oil w/lavender EO and arnica gel topically. 24 hrs gone from cantaloupe to grapefruit, and range of motion now from 10 to 70 but still on crutches can’t bear weight yet. DOING THE SQUAD SQUEEZES I can do a few before I feel the LCL tweak - will keep at it all day THANK YOU

Excellent information. I had to search about 20 videos before I got this answer. Definitely a stress fracture exactly as you described. I also had swelling around the bone pain point.

I fell from a monkey bar and hit my palm, it didnt hurt a lot and it wasn't very painfull the next 3 days. Now im 4 months deep and it hurts when i do simple pushups. im going crazy for not working out with my dumbbells. Currently im only working with my lower part and core, with a little bit of yoga for sunday. Ill just patiently wait until it fully heals. Which i hope it does quickly.
Great video!! I recently purchased a 2023 Trek FX4 Sport. In their "infinite wisdom", Trek fitted what they call a ThruSkew as a means of QR axle design. This QR axle is not friendly to indoor riding/training. Indoor trainers that clamp rear QR skewers are not compatible with the new Trek design. The only "safe" indoor trainer is the KICKR ROLLR (I don't consider "free rollering" safe), so I bought one yesterday, set it up, and completed a short ride - and it was great. Thank you, Wahoo, for coming up with the KICKR ROLLR, and shame on you, Trek!!
Hey! That is interesting, I did not know about the Trek ThruSkew. I Do know that bike companies do dumb stuff, and this sounds like one of them!

Hey I strain my calf last week Monday and I just did the exercises is it okay if my calf are tight? also I don’t have alot of pain when I finish with the exercises what should I do?
Tightness can often mean that they are just fatigued, which they would be after doing the exercises, so its probably be ok. As long as there is no pain.

I pushed myself this week at the gym and with miles outside. My knee started having pressure and tightness when bending. I'm thinking it's a sprain. No pain which is good 👍. I've just never had tightness or needed to feel any difference in my knees and feels a bit odd bending down , which I do often to care for my bunnies.

Hey! No, you definitely want to go deeper than your knee bend in a pedal stroke. That is the best way to build the muscles that you need for cycling. If you only bent your knees to around 30-35 deg. needed for the pedal stroke you would be not get quite as much out of the squat. And you need this strength and ROM for you using your legs outside of cycling.

@@bilqees786 yes very important to keep it straight a slight curl at the bottom of the movement is fine usually though. Hinging at the hips and not the waist is a good place to start
