Welcome to my channel! To be quite honest, I find myself to be very restricting of myself... so on this channel, I'll be posting videos without worrying about judgement or perfection! I hope to share my genuine self with you all, and I'm excited for you to join me on this journey :)
Hmm... Baybayin is really nice to have it again, but for today's Filipino Language (alongside Taglish)? It really need a Modernized or Reformed Version. Baybayin is really nice, I hope it will get revived, alongside other script of other language in 🇵🇭 ᜊᜓᜑᜌᜒᜈ᜔ ᜈᜆᜒᜈ᜔ ᜀᜅ᜔ ᜊᜌ᜔ᜊᜌᜒᜈ᜔!
FIRST (im og #1 fan no one can replace me on my soul im diddy)
I believe the best way to revive Baybayin in this generation is by incorporating it into our social media interactions. Given how aware we are of new trends on platforms like TikTok and Facebook, why not make Baybayin a trend in our posts, comments, and chats? This approach could help bring the writing system back into popular use

There was no such writing system existed in the ancient PH. Baybayin is completely made up and invented by historians just to make Ph history more interesting. The fact is PH history is kinda boring and native ancient filipinos were uncivilized and no culture, roaming around naked
No. Baybayin is a real language.
Mukhang kailangan mong pumunta sa national museum of anthropology nang mahimasmasan ka sa iyong mga winika
Baybayin is neither lost nor ancient. It was used up to the first century of the Spanish colonial period. The first bible in a Filipino local language was published using Baybayin. Baybayin was introduced 800 years earlier and that is not considered ancient by archaeologists.
That baybayin is not considered ancient but modern. Is that what you're trying to imply?
Baybayin is one of the writing systems that co-existed with other ancient writing systems in Southeast Asia that was under the influence of Ancient India. To say that Baybayin is not ancient is absurd. "The first bible in a Filipino local language was published using Baybayin" - Which bible are you referring to? Because the first religious text that incorporated the use of Baybayin was the "Doctrina Christiana" which is the equivalent of catechism today.
I hope the person make that app successfully and widespread it to country . Best of luck to baybayin . Guys start with movies . Most languages motivation comes from media. I love Phillipines ❤
I like this writing a lot only a few could understand but hoping that they'll gonna make used of using this to preserved .this writing symbolizes our own unique identity. ᜀᜅ᜔ ᜄᜈ᜔ᜇ ᜐᜈ ᜋᜃᜒᜆ ᜈ ᜄᜒᜈᜄᜋᜒᜆᜓ ᜁᜆᜓ ᜃᜑᜒᜆ᜔ ᜐᜀᜈ᜔ ᜇᜑᜒᜎ᜔ ᜐ ᜉᜈᜑᜓᜈ᜔ ᜅᜌᜓᜈ᜔ ᜉᜇᜅ᜔ ᜎᜒᜋᜓᜆ᜔ ᜈ ᜅ᜔ ᜃᜐᜌ᜔ᜐᜌᜈ᜔ ᜀᜅ᜔ ᜉᜒᜈᜄ᜔ᜋᜓᜎᜈ᜔ ᜅ᜔ ᜀᜆᜒᜅ᜔ ᜃᜐᜇᜒᜈ᜔ᜎᜈ᜔ ᜐᜈ ᜊᜁᜆᜓᜇᜓ ᜁᜆᜓ ᜐ ᜉᜀᜇᜎᜈ᜔ ᜅ᜔ ᜋᜄᜋᜒᜆ᜔ ᜅ᜔ ᜋ᜔ᜄ ᜃᜊᜆᜀᜈ᜔

In Germany it‘s also very common to say your full name or even just the last name to let the caller know who he or she is talking to. The greeting comes after that.
@@JL-cw2ws Ohh I didn’t know that! Thank you for sharing ☺️ Similarly in English if people want to be formal, they go for example: “This is Kero Keroson speaking!”

woahhh i’ve actually learned a lot more from you and all this time i thought i was just bad at using different kinds of chopsticks and i’m glad to put this into future use! thanks! keep this good work up!
Thank you so much for your comment. I hope I can continue to bring value through my videos! Also, I’m really bad at using melamine chopsticks that Chinese or Vietnamese restaurants have 😭 whenever I need to eat noodles, they slip right off. You’re not alone if you feel that way!
I did like the video but the video quality is very low. Super obvious thing to say but I hope you can get a better camera soon - your on camera speaking is very comfortable :) !
Also would like to note it might be lighting/focusing of the camera that is the issue.
@@lemo4youow321 Thank you so much for the feedback! On my side, I don’t see any technical issues affecting the video quality to make it as low as you say. However, I’ll do my best to improve the video quality as well as the content, which I think is the most important!
Maybe it's me being a little nitpicky, but I think it's still good to keep in mind some disrespectful gestures when using chopsticks, for example, stabbing your chopsticks into your food upright (I grew up in a Chinese family and this is one taboo). Of course, to me, it's okay if you didn't do it intentionally, but if you do know it, it might be better to just keep it in mind and not do it! I do agree though, there's no need to use chopsticks for everything, even I sometimes get lazy and just use a fork haha. Great video though, really enjoyed it!
Yes I agree with you! I have a habit of not stabbing my chopsticks into food upright because of the taboo originating from Taoism. And because I do know it, I don’t do it haha That’s why I encourage everyone to learn about all kinds of cultures so they can learn what to do and not to do in every situation! However no matter the culture, I find myself correcting people when they stab chopsticks in their food cuz it just doesn’t feel right 😂 Thank you so much for watching and for your comment. I really appreciate it!
That isn't how I hold a pencil. No wonder I wasn't getting it from written and line-drawn instructions.
Just like with chopsticks, there isn’t a truly “proper” way to grip a pencil it seems! I grew up holding a pencil this way, but I’ve seen different people with all kinds of funky pencil grips haha I’m glad you could learn it through visuals this time! Hope it helped :)
great video, keep it up.
Thank you so much. I'll try my best!
As an Indonesian Chinese, I find it pretty dumb when people use chopsticks for certain foods. For example, rice. If it’s chunky rice that easily heaps together, the go ahh east and use chopsticks. If it’s rice that doesent clump together, then use a spoon or hands. Cheers!
Yes especially if spoons are available! Luckily, since I'm lazy to use two different utensils sometimes, the rice I make is usually a little sticky so I can just use chopsticks haha
Sticky rice in a bowl is so much easier with chopsticks tho. I can shovel a bowl into my house if I need to or pick up any amount I want. Spoon feels like so big and unweidable.
@@Bobbobbob984 I definitely opt for the spoon if I’m eating the sticky rice with soup or sauce, but chopsticks are so much more versatile to use On top of being able to pick up as much as we want, I can also easily go back and forth between my rice, my meat, and my veggies ALSO, it saves time and energy washing more dishes 😅
wait ur kinda goated
I'm more 'used' to chinese style chop sticks. I used a korean set once and found myself consistently turning them off-bias, and even perpendicular to each other. I didn't know chopsticks had different profiles beyond the grip tip styles until years later. That being said, giant soup spoon should be used for everything that will fit in giant soup spoon. Cereal? Spoon. Rice? Spoon. Tuna slice? Spoon. Measuring ingredients? Giant soup spoon, baby.
I find myself preferring to eat different foods with different styles of chopsticks sometimes! I find it a little hard to eat Japanese ramen with Korean chopsticks cuz it slips, despite primarily using Korean chopsticks otherwise. Also, giant spoons need to be everywhere. Personally, food tastes better when I can put more on my spoon 😂
Is doing the walrus appropriate in formal settings?
What do you mean? I'm pretty sure it is the ONLY appropriate chopsticks grip in formal settings
This would’ve helped me in my 5th grade class😭
