Hi! My name is Kristen and along with my husband Terry we try to makes memories and travel when we can. We live in Texas and just bought a new mobile home that will be our forever home. Carnival Dream 2023/Last 2 Sea Days/Steakhouse/Debarkation

We enjoyed the last 2 sea days on the ship as we returned to Galveston. We did do much the last 2 days. We relaxed, played some trivia, and listen to some music. We also had our reservation at the Steakhouse. It was so good and it has become tradition to eat at the Steakhouse every sailing. Today we made it our last port of the trip Nassau. We went on our first snorkeling adventure and did a 2 reef snorkel by boat. It was so scary, but so fun at the same time. This will not be the last time we snorkel like this. We saw a turtle and that just made the whole trip for me. Today we finally arrived in Half Moon Cay and it didn't disappoint. We got off to a rough start as we were delayed and hour getting off the ship, but our time was extended and hour. Today we are in Freeport. The port is very nice and clean. I understand why this is not some's favorite port, but it was nice to get off and walk around. Today we are in Key West and we are both so excited to get off the ship and explore the island. We first picked up our electric golf cart and headed to the longest pier in Key West Edward B. Today was a lazy sea day. We got some brunch in the main dining room, some lazy time in ocean plaza playing cards and playing trivia. Tonight was the first formal night. Tonight we went to the 80's to the Max show and it was not the best we have seen. Overall we had a great sea day and nice way to start off the cruise. Join us next time for Key West.

Today was along time coming as we boarded the Carnival Dream and we headed to the Bahamas for our first 8 day cruise. This was also our first time to any of the ports that we visited. We enjoyed have Suite priority to board as quickly as we did. Come explore some of the ship and enjoy some of the Welcome Abord show.

We did go on our first cruise and we had a blast. We went to shows. We went shopping. Man that ship was huge. I loved the balcony. We sat out there when we we were sailing away and it was amazing. We had so much fun and before we knew it it was over.boo hoo the crew was absolutely marvelous and so friendly. I'm also from texas,actually it's Abilene texas.

Wow I really enjoyed watching your video! Me and my girlfriend are going on the Carnival Sunshine in about 5 weeks, and neither of us have ever been on a cruise. We will be sailing to Half Moon Cay and I’m definitely looking forward to it .

On the dream for first time August 20. Looking forward to new menus. BTW guest services is 24 hours on all the ships but sometimes they leave a bell out.

Thanks for the details! We did this same cruise a little over a year ago. Debarking was great because we didn’t have a flight or anything like that. So we hung around the buffet eating a nice breakfast and having coffee with new friends we made on board. We were literally the next last passengers off the ship. Deon was the cruise director, he was waving us off the ship, cmon let’s go the cruise is over you gotta go home lol. He was funny the whole time.
We went on the Dream on April 22 - April 30 and I agree with a lot of what you said. The entertainment was not good. The food was lacking. It was good in the dining room, good burgers and contrary to y'all, this Texan and his wife were very impressed with the BBQ. The brisket was not the best I've had, but it was pretty good and the sides were amazing. The breakfast was okay at best. They served omelets that were good but the line was always about 30 to 45 minutes long. We were in the omelet line with four people in front of us and it took over 30 minutes to get served because three "ladies" at the front were taking phone orders from their friends and must have ordered 10 omelets. (These were the same "ladies" that were involved in a fight leaving the theatre later in the cruise.) But two omelet lines is not enough to serve 8000 people. Our Cruise Director was a total amateur compared to the other two cruise I've taken. Her assistants were not any help either. I can only speak English, so I admire them for being able to speak another language but neither one spoke well enough to make announcements that could be understood. In fact, someone should give all the cruise employees lessons on how to proper use a microphone. It is not necessary to yell into a microphone from a quarter inch away. I own Carnival stock but I will seriously consider sailing on Royal Caribbean next time.
I agree with alot of what you said as well. This one was a totally different vibe then all of our other ones.

I sail dream in 3 days! I’m very excited as it is my first cruise ever! Do you have any tips on what to do on board?
First, congratulations on your first cruise you are going to love it. I would say make sure to get a couple of guys burgers, take in a show or two, listen to the live music in the Ocean Plaza or lobby. Play some trivia and just relax and enjoy yourself.

I know why you meant… I didn’t like the stuffed turkey roll with the spinach… the other traditional turkey was decent. I wasn’t a fan of that pie either. This cruise I was going to be adventurous and I will say the alligator and the rabbit was beyond delicious! I stayed away from the prime rib. I didn’t like it. I enjoyed all the variations of salmon they made as well as the sea bass if I recall the one odd fish they served.
I leave all the adventurous eating to my husband.
Bruhhhhh, if this was the cruise that sailed on the 8th I was on this ship… was my first cruise. We had some crazy seas for a few days on this trip especially coming back from Nassau. The lightning was amazing! I got great video. The flooding by the pig and anchor was also insane. We were on deck 8. I’m glad that medical emergency was able to get off the ship in Nassau that we had from half moon cay.
No we sailed on March 25th. It was bad for the first night and day. I'm glad you enjoyed your first cruise.

Yes, it is the only beach on the island. The chairs are free. If you want a clamshell or cabana, you have to purchase those.

Very Enjoyable ship tour! Thanks for the tour. Well done. I love the atrium design on these ships. The newer class of ships are all the same design like the Vista class, all 3 ships in that class are the same so it gets boring.

I had an amazing time for my first cruise expect for that stormy rocky night we had I think it was Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. I wanted to get up and get my life jacket. 😂😂😂
