"Dixie" an eight-month old Australian Shepard-Collie mix tries in vain to catch a bouncing purple ball. At one point she mistakes the ball's shadow as the ball itself. Slow-motion video at 1/8 normal speed was used to capture her goofy and acrobatic, yet fruitless, attempts at making a catch.

11/1/2024 will be my father n step mothers 50th! They fell in love to his songs! To this day they still dance when they hear one of them! He's 93, she's 88! Yes, health issues, but they remember n dance!! Thank you Mr Diamond!

I grew up in NY a diehard Yankee fan, when my daughter was 12 and of course a Yank, we went to see them play the Sox at Fenway for a playoff game. It was the game the yank's won by 10 runs. I was worried because my daughter was head to toe decked out in Yankee colors. We had standing room tickets and I was amazed how great the Sox fans treated my child. 2 fellas seated in front of us offered my child their seats and I almost cried, they were clearly long time Sox fans and had never seen their team win a series. I returned the favor by wearing a Red Sox cap during their run to the title some years later and I like to think my last name which means fortunate in Italian helped them just a bit, Godbless the folks of Boston and this great country. 💖
Despite living in California when he was younger, my 5 year-old son became a lifelong Red Sox fan after I brought him a red Sox cap after a business trip to Boston. He's now 24 and still roots for the Sox when they're not playing the Mariners.
