If you are looking for a poly maybe Wilson Revolve as it is not as stiff as this one. Regarding non-polys you will probably have to explore around. Suggest you look at Tennis Warehouse website as they have categorized their strings by characteristics...that has helped me.

I've tried different lead placement on this. You do actually need some weight at 6 to help stabilize the frame. It's a good place to add weight without making the racquet feel sluggish.

myviews it is the pro version which has an 18x20 pattern compared to the 16x19 mp they have...assuming it has some graphite in it but not sure and pretty sure isometric is a term Yonex racquets uses

Juliano da Costa I have not hit with the Speed MP but you are correct there isn’t much difference outside of the Extreme having a thicker beam and the string pattern for the Extreme, while the same as the Speed, has different (wider) spacing. You will get a bit more power and spin with the Extreme in my opinion.

Joseph Rob Thanks for watching. On the serve, I found it easier to add pace and spin. Most likely this was due to the string pattern being more open. For me, the more open a pattern, the better my serve but it isn’t a weapon of mine. I thought the plow through was good for being a non pro racquet. The racquet was almost even balanced while pro is pretty head light. The weight in the head helps with stability and plow. However, I liked the pro better from a plow perspective. On social media, Head indicated they engineered this new Extreme to be one where a pro isn’t needed (more weight in head, etc). I like the specs of the pro better but different strokes for different folks.

Kojok WielkiPEP great question...I would give the slight edge to the Touch MP..but both racquets in my opinion have a healthy sweetspt..I like what Head has done to the Extreme just wish there was a Pro.

Jorge Morales thanks for the question...I have not tried the textreme warrior but looking at the specs I would expect the warrior to have more power given the beam size and stiffness rating.

jorge2k8 hi, thank you. My understanding is that this racquet will be released later this summer and Tennis Warehouse will stock the racquet (mid-august). You should check with them later this summer.

Rod keefer I would try a higher powered poly like Black Widow from Dunlop and would string it in the low 50's and may be able to even string it in the higher 40's as I thought it had a ton of control.

Peter Parker maybe so but in my opinion you don't have to be Pro Tour to have an opinion on the string...I didn't love it and I have a right to say that in a review..plus..you don't have to be a higher level player to be accurate or unbiased...accuracy is not relevant as it is an opinion and I am unbiased as I wasn't paid by or associated with Babolat.

T W not to mention that most people who will be buying these strings will be around this level.

Abhinav k good point, it was very windy the day I filmed the hitting so it was difficult to get set but I don't disagree with your observation as noticed it somewhat myself
