Sharing highlights of my travels to cement the memories!
Next adventure inbound.... Off to ride a motorbike around the continent of South America.
The plan is to spend a year traversing as many countries as possible. Colombia to Colombia but the long way.

Exploring Pisac!
Ended up spending two weeks in this beautiful little town.
Had my first experience volanteering which was super chill and a nice way to save a bit of money. The hostel had an epic rooftop and tv room to chill.
Explored some beautiful legunas, waterfalls, viewpoints and history around the area.
Was the reunion place as I met Andres again to keep traveling together and Fran stayed for a week too.
Unfortunately I got terribly sick with a stomach bug which made for a horrendous three days.

Cusco to Pisac by Moto

Lovely viewpoint and town along the way. Had a bit of trouble on the way back to Cusco for the mechanics when I stupidly took a walking path shortcut. Stayed in such a nice hostel in Pisac I ended up volenteering and extending a week.
Machu Pichu Adventure

Machu Pichu was an incredible bucket list experience. Getting there was interesting, we took a 7 hour bus ride with the last road being very dangerous. Super narrow gravel roads with lits of traffic and mega drop off cliffs to the valleys below. We arrived to the hydroelectric damn. Here we walked along the train tracks for 13 KMs over 3 hours. Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley

Next up was the famous Rainbow Mountain. This was very beautiful but waaay to many tourists and not as spectacular as the photos you see online. However it had a secret gem. An extra hike to red valley. This was so stunning. The panoramic view of the valley was incredible and the best spot IV ever had a beer. Laguna Humantay Hike

First walk of Cusco. Was a great way to ease into the high altitude hikeing again with a steep but relatively short climb up. Lake was stunning and so was the company! #adventure #peru #humantay #hike #laguna #altitude #snow #horse #travel #adventure

On the way, I accidentally stumbled across the Inca lines, which were breathtaking. Other than the fact that they built a highway right through the middle of the ancient ruins. A desert Oasis packed with fun! Sand boarding down massive dunes was a real highlight of my trip along with the views of the entire city from above. Had some fun partying and celebrating the soccer World cup finals here too. #adventure #sandboarding #huacachina #moto #travel #gopro #peru #fpv
